Course Curriculum Overview
The course and curriculum is fully relevant but from the 2nd year, in 1st year its an absolute mess. I am a 1st year student and I have to study many subjects that are of no relevance to my course or interests. The faculties are well qualified and absolutely compitent. I choosed this course because I love cooding and app development and its one of the most relevant courses available for that.
Internships Opportunities
I do not have much of an idea of the companies and tasks as I am just a first year student and internship oppurtunities are generally from the end of second year and the third year students. I did not had any internships till date.
Placement Experience
after discussion with my faculty and seniors got some rough idea that average college placement is between 10 to 14 lakh .students can sit in placement from 6 th semester onwards. from the previous record i heard that one of cse departmet got highest package of 52 lpa . average package is around 12 lakh per annum. almst 80 percent student get camous olacement. i am aspecting to get a campus placement in any reputed company
Fees and Financial Aid
nit agartala is a goverment run institude so there is such hikes of tuition fees increase policy. its almost 5lakh required to complete my 4 year course along with hostel fees and tuition fees and for a general category student with family income more than 4 lakh need almost 14 lakh to complete whole couse. there are many scholarship which anyone can apply in nsp portal
Campus Life
It is a great experience in campus life .every year there is a cultural fest and one technical fest held .cultural fest is named as moksha .many classrooms have digital projector .and we have one of the biggest sports complex , every indoor and outdoor games are played here. there are more than 15 clubs like gaming club, dancing club , singing club , drama club etc.
Hostel Facilities
hostel has clean bathrooms , everyday sweepers comes to clean hostel .in every room there is one study table , one almirah and two tubelight are available and we have mess just behind our hostel , foods in mess are average quality , three times in a day they provide food. in a week 3 days they give meat , overall its good
Admission
The admission process is almost the same as all the engineering colleges in India. The admission is through JEE Mains followed by Josaa counselling. After the counselling I got addmission and had to come to college for physical verification in our respective branch. The eligibility is simple, qualify JEE Mains and then perticipate in the Josaa counselling. JEE Mains occurs two times a year, first one around January and second one around april. On an average at about 95percentile is the cut off for Computer Science Engineering branch. I availed the Home State reservation of NITs. Anyone can avail it if he or she has done their 12th standard in the state.
