Course Curriculum Overview
I was interested in computer science so I choose that. For placements you have to study extra as not every things are taught by the institution. Although there are several subjects that were actually needed for placements and industry like DBMS, CN, OOPs, OS. This things actually help us for real world applications. One suggestion that I would give is teachers should make an effort to teach their respective subjects, there are very few of them who are actually willing to teach, in rest of the subjects we have to mostly rely on books, online sources, etc.
Internships Opportunities
There are several internship opportunities coming. Like Microsoft also offered internship with stipend approximately 50k. Several other companies also visit the college and offer 10k-20k for internships and the roles are generally for software developer.
Placement Experience
Placements are average I would say. Students from 3rd year are eligible for internships and they can go for placements in their 4th year. Many famous companies visited on-campus like Microsoft, Amazon, Oracle, etc. The highest package was 52LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am a general candidate, so on an average I have to pay 70k per semester. There are several fee remissions for different categories of students which they can avail by providing actual certificates and proofs. Placements are not that good
Campus Life
The infrastructure of the college is quite good, the nature is pretty good. The basic services are also available. But there is some issue with network and internet speed. There are several fests that are held throughout the year. Several clubs are also running which gives you exposure.
Admission
The admission was through JEE Main Examination. In my year of admission the cutoff for CSE branch for girls was 90 percentile. All details regarding admission were provided in the official institution website. The admission process was smooth and the staff were cooperative. In BTech there are 8 semesters and each semester is having two exams, mid term and end term within a duration of 6months. The difficulty of the exams are moderate.
