college is so better than expected, simply its awesome experience.

i am intrested in chemestry from my class 11, so i selected this course which is the best i am getting according to my rank and interest. I liked my IIT curriculum so much, actually it is so similar to the curriculum of IIT Kharagpur. it would be better if better faculty is provided physics. when comparing to real world application all IIT' are good, no doubt in that. but after JEE so many students want to relax and no great comprtition between students in terms of academics. here exam scheme is like, 40% marks are for end sem, end 30% marks are for mid sem exams and finally rest 30% marks are for class tests and sometimes even for attendence it will comprise of 10% based on lecture or tutor.

accenture amazon wipro infosys zomato google oracle paytm HDFC qualcomm are some of the companies comijng to IIT patna to give internships with stipend. as being an intern we need to gain the experience and challenges required to complete the task.

from my knowledege, students will get the oppurtunities by the end of 2nd year, but the real game on placements will start in 3rd year. 95% of the students are getting the placements. some good companies will come and offer packages up to 80lpa, but if we have confidence that we deserve more than the college placements are giving then it would be better to go for off-campus interview. but i think, no need of that, in rare cases off-campus interview is needed. my plans after btech are to do masters in some foreign country.

in my ademic year, tution fees is 2 lakhs and i got complete fee reiumbersement in my tution fee as i am from EWS categeory. mess fee is approximately 20 thousand. and hostel fees is of 6 thousand and then some transport andd health expenses are from 3 to 5 thousand. while coming to financial aid we can get some scholar loan from SB, union bank or canara incase of having poor financial status. some scholarships are available for girls and sc,st student which we need to apply in online.

this is the best experience a university student can get, actually i hadnt expected this much of fun and enjoyment while i entered into thje college, fests will be there, and lot of fun events, cultural festivals are celebrated in college, guest lectures will be there, and lot of activities are there, like sports, dance, carnivals etc. currently i almost completed my 1st year and we had 4 fests completed. 1)nebulla-which is for freshers 2)infinito-the fest of sports(which gives lot opourtunities to prove ourself in sports) 3)celesta-the fest of tech 4)anwesha-the cultural fest(which is largest cultural fest of north-east india) here we are provided with cricket ground, football ground, basket ball, lawn tennis, volly ball, badminton, skating, table tennis, gym, yoga hall.

hostel facilities are good, currently i am in CV raman hostel which is 7 story building, 6 elevators are there for my hostel, in each room 3 people are accomodated, rooms are of enough space, also a chair and table are provided by the campus, and bed cots too. hot water is provided in washrooms for bathing, and drinking water too. i think no need to rent a room as the hostel facilities are good, and coming to mess food it is awesome, even they change the menu for 2-3 months to not feel bored, every mng egg, milk, sprouts, corn flakes, bread, and a fruit is provided allong with one tiffin like idly, vada, alu parata, poha and so onn. chicken is given 2 times a week and fish on every friday, chicken biriyani on sunday, and also special dinner is given in the end of every month. where we get the food in restaurent taste. all rhostel egistration process is online except the first time when i entered in college.

in my branch chemcal engineering the required rank for open category is varying between 9k to 13k, only option to get into this is to write JEE mains and JEE advanced which require lot of skill. people of EWS will get the tution fee reiumbersement. jee advanced is very difficult, to clear the exam dedication and determination are required and also time management is very important while solving questions. admission process is ok but when i joined hostel allotment process took so much time which should be improved
