Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is balanced and it is focused on the new technologies rising up. The curriculum includes subjects such as AI, ML, and also Blockchain for all the available branches. The improvement can be done in the practical portion of the electronics department which is essential for undergraduates to learn. The exams consist of two exams per semester mid semester and end semester and there are 4 quizzes per subject which carry internal marks. The exams are based on the classroom data only.
Internships Opportunities
In our college internships were given out by companies such as Atlassian, amazon, zscalar and many more. Atlassian was offering a package of 83 LPA and selected two of the female candidates for summer intern.
Placement Experience
The campus placement starts from 3rd year with full force and is focused on summer internships for 3rd year. The campus placement for final year starts from 7th semester. Till now some 50 companies have visited and around 40-45 students are placed on campus with many companies result is still pending. The highest package offered till now is 39 lpa at autodesk. The percentage of placement till now is around 40 percentage. The plan after getting the degree is to indulge in the field of software engineering.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tuition fees over the years has increased dramatically since the construction of the new campus the fees gap between the batches is large and varies which I can recall is till the 2018-2022 batches the tuition fees was 56000 per semester but for 2020-2024 batch the tuition fees was 90000 per semester. The complete cost of education is somewhere between 120000. Scholarships offered are the NSP scheme and no other scholarships are provided by the college.
Campus Life
The campus life had its ups and downs since the first two years were completely online due to COVID-19. In the year 2022, we returned to campus and attended our first campus festival named Enyugma which was held in November and the sports fest named Udyatva. The library is currently small and is expected to expand soon with more inflow of books. The classroom consists of well equipped classrooms with projectors to teachers aid. The college consists of different sports and cultural and technological clubs for overall development of students.
Hostel Facilities
The rooms are 3 seater rooms and are given a balcony and 3 tables,3 almirahs and also lan ports are given to individual students. The menu is vast but the quality of the meal is not as good. The hostel registration is done using the student portal and it is quite affordable with 22000 hostel fees and 16000 mess fee.
Admission
The admission was based on the scores of the JEE-Mains Examination. The cutoff was somewhere around 70000 rank for general and it varied for different reserved categories. The counseling was done by NTA and the whole admission process was made online due to covid restrictions.
