The curriculum of a particular course is as per Uttarakhand Technical University (UTU) regulations. It is set in such a way that a student acquire both theoretical as well as experimental knowledge of the subject. Labs are very well equipped. Faculties take a practical approach in their teaching.

The college helps its students to get in touch with the companies which offer internship. Very few companies provide stipend.

Placement records of this college are very good. Reputed companies like IBM, TCS, HCL, hp, Samsung, Mahindara Satyam, Google, Apple and many more visit this college. Almost 90% students get placed every year. I must say excellent job opportunities at RIT!

Many events are held at RIT. Cultural/technical/sports fests are organised at a good scale. Cash prizes are given to winning team/student in the technical fest which motivates the students. Debate competitions are also held every year. College provides a very good industrial exposure.

Fee structure is feasible. Very good scholarships are provided to the meritorious students. There is also sports, army, women and state quota for scholarship. Hostel fee is also affordable. Total fee is genuine if we look at the quality of the facilities provided.

Scholarships are offered to the meritorious students which boosts the moral of hard working students. There is army, sports, topper, women and state quota. I topped the class in my 1st year so I got scholarship which was 100% off on tuition fee in my 2nd year.

Many extra curricular events are held at this college. Cultural and technical fests are organised at a very large scale. There are DJ nights which is always fun. Cash prizes are also awarded to winning team/student at technical fest. Social activities like plantation, blood donation camp etc. are also held.

College provides very nice hostel facility both for boys and girls. Rooms are very spacious. Mess food is also nice and variety of options available. Non Veg food is also provided twice a month for which you will have to pay some extra bucks which is very reasonable.

Our seniors were very helpful and supportive. It always feels very nice to talk about the college alumni.

Exam structure is as per UTU rules and regulations. You have to take both written as well as practical examination. Each exam is of total 100 marks and duration time of 3 hours. Besides final exams, one has to appear in two internal sessional exams too.

Admission process is very simple. I booked my seat through online counseling. You need to pay small amount of fee at the time of admission. Rest amount of fee can be paid in installments which is very convenient. Admission counselors are really very helpful.

Highly experienced and skilled faculty. They help you as much as they can. Lectures are presented in a very nice manner so that one can understand easily. Both black board as well as multimedia are used in teaching. You get to learn so much from the faculty.
