Course Curriculum Overview
My branch is Btech in Electrical Engineering. As many of us know and might have googled that it is the most toughest branch in Engineering. Well!! It indeed is but the good side is being a core branch it gives you very well and in-depth perspective about the real world applications and also electrical being a vital role in every aspect of our society
Internships Opportunities
Many internship oppotunities are available which are informed by the CCD department thoroughly. Many of them conduct OAs online and then prepare for the interview. Many students avail the internships which later turn into full time offer.
Placement Experience
Every year many companies visit the campus for placements and more or less 75% of the students are placed in various job roles by the time they graduate. Also for juniors there are internship opportunities which are informed thouroughly. There is a CCD department in the college which handles and executes all the campus placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tuition fees are not there for reservation category students whereas for students below 1lac or less per year also doesn't have to pay any tuition fee. Students whose annual income is 5lac or less gets a very good fee relaxation on filling up an application form. There are various number and types of stipends available for all category of students.
Campus Life
NIT Agartala has a Gymkhana which is a student body that looks after all the technical and socio-cultural fests that take place here. There is also a Central library available where numerous amount of books are available. The classrooms and labs are also well equipped and most importantly the teachers are very cooperative.
Admission
The admission process was very smooth. I got into NIT through Josaa counselling which is an All India level counselling Board after giving JEE Mains. The application form and all the required documents were provided in the Josaa website itself including the application release dates and fees. I availed my SC reservation category and it provided me benefit of securing a good branch. I got admission through JEE mains 2021, the exam was a bit on the moderate level with Maths being on a bit of a higher level. Tried to solve as efficiently as I could and kept in mind of negative marking so no blind guess.
Other Applied Colleges
Delhi University - [DU] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)
Because I thought NIT would be a better option rather than DU as NIT will provide more exposure to opportunities
