MY HONEST VIEW ABOUT "NIT AGARTALA"

From my childhood I want to be an engineering. My curiosity in electricity is going to be my life decisions to choose this specific course of engineering that is electronics and communication engineering. Another major thing which affect me to choose this branch in NIT Agartala is campus placement ratio in this course. Since i am a first year btech student the classes are going through section ways. From second year the classes will takes part in respective branches. The frequency of exams is two months. In every week there will be some class test regarding what the faculties are taught in the class. The question level in mid sem and end sem is moderate to difficulty level. One should have depth knowledge about a particular subject to score good in the subject.

The internship opportunities available in our college is moderate to very good. Many companies such as Amazon, Microsoft, Google etc are providing internship to the desired and intellectual Student under them. Since I am a fresher student, I do not apply for internship opportunities. But my aim is that in summer I will be applied for internship which grow and develop my in built knowledge and experience which will be benefited in upcoming future. Some internship also provided under paid internship also. Many seniors are give guidance to the juniors for internship opportunities present in our colleges which are beneficial for many juniors to take many career building decisions.

The placement in our college is very good for circuital branches such as electronics and communication, electrical, electronics and instrumentation. The average package offered to these branches is approximately 14 lakh per annum to 18 lakh per annum. The topmost branch of our college is computer science engineering. The highest package gone through in previous year was 54 lakh per annum offered by Amazon. The mediocre branches such as mechanical, chemical civil, production are also given placement average 7 to 8 lakh per annum which is comparatively is low. Many multinational companies, government aided companies and PSU are visited nit Agartala to give placement to the desired student. But various companies, they are not even come to nit Agartala for main reason such as it is in North East of our. The difficulty to communicate with roadways. There are also other issues which are also having play rule in difficulties to providing incampus placement.

Fee structure for our entire course in btech is nearly 4 lakh without hostel fees. There is tuition fee remission for SC ST candidates and the general student whose family annual income is below 1 lakh. They have to pay for certain fees such as examination fees, sports fees, medical fees etc, calculating the fees for entire btech course, it comes out to be less than 1 lakh. General student those whose parental family annual income is above 3 lakhs, they have to pay tuition fees 70000 per semester. And the student whose parental family annual income is in between 1 lakh to 3 lakh, they have pay for tuition fees is nearly 21000 per semester. The scholarship opportunities in our college is very good. There is having a separate building which is scholarship section deals with the scholarship, stipend and financial aid for the entire student in our college.

The campus life in our college is very cheerful and joyful. The relationship between seniors and juniors is like brother. We have maintained a brotherhood among all of us. This is absolutely ragging free campus. In NIT Agartala, there is having numerous clubs which having either cultural aspects or technical aspects. Various clubs such as Dezire, Aaveg, Malhar is for dancing, drama, singing respectively. There are also having club for gaming, fine arts coding etc. We have two main fest in nit agartala which are moksha and aayaam. Moksha is known as cultural festival and aayaam is for technical aspects. Moksha was organised in the very fast weeks of February and the Aayaam fest will be likely held in the mid of March. The college infrastructure provided is very good, some hostels and departments are made with modern architectural effects which mesmerize to all viewers.

We the first year student and third year students are accomodated in Rabindranath Tagore hostels which have fine infrastructure and has high facilities such as lift etc. Similarly second year student and fourth year student are being provided with Hotel Aryabhatta, they are very aged hostel manufactured approx in 2000. There is having major 5 mess for having food. The overall quality of food provided is below average. There is also having some small cantine which also provided some quality foods. Room for first and second year student is allotted with two students in each room. But from third year individual rooms are provided to the student. The room quality is very good. One table and chair is provided with the room. Registration process for hostel is in online mode and there is one virtual sessions was there when we are coming to the hostel for the very fast time. Many Students are taking their individual rent in the nearby city from Nit Agartala is in Ranirbazar,which is 6 km ahead

The admission process for getting admission in nits and iits is quite challenging. Since these are top most engineering colleges in our country, the admission process is through examination that is jee mains and jee advanced. I give two attempt of jee mains in January and March of 2023. I have scored 82 percentile in first attempt and 90 percentile in second attempt. Since I am an OBC candidate, it is tough to get a seat in higher ranked nits. I want top branches of engineering such as computer science engineering, electronics and communication engineering. So I chose mediocre nit like nit agartala. Since nit agartala in my own state, so by home state quota I am easily able to get ECE in NIT Agartala. The seat allocation process is going on through online process co-ordinate by jossa. After I getting my seat I have to pay for partial admission fees for seat confirmation. After that physical admission process is happened in the college in our respective departments.
