The course curriculum of the college is mostly by the BPUT and from the year 2024 the college has become an university and the college still follows BPUT syllabus with some differences in syllabus. The course is quite clumsy and puts burden. Students are restricted to show their creativity but students are force to study long clumsy subjects and give boring exams. Professors mostly over the syllabus on time giving good grade to students who attend regular classes and give poor grade to student who don't attend classes. Scoring a good mark in internal exam is a nightmare. The teaching method is mostly outdated and college and BPUT need to update their syllabus to cater new talent as the new generation is not study freak but are intelligent and need a smart away to study and gain filled knowledge and practical knowledge so that doing engineering would be interesting. The exam conducted by BPUT are of moderate difficulty and is of 3 hours for semester exam and for internal exam it is 1 hr

Very less companies come for the four branches but for the branches computer science electrical and electronics many companies come with descent package. Students in the final year are provided with measure project and minor projects. And for this projects they are kept under the guidance of there respective faculties overall for the placement in core branches is quite a nightmare but it is better for the students to take a comment

From the year 2024 placements required horrible. Students are getting less placed or getting very poor package. For better placement you should choose computer science or electrical branch or ETC branch. Lowest placement could be 2 lakhs per year and the highest package could be 8 to 10 lacs per year and placements come from the fourth year itself

The tuition fees of the college is mostly under the guidance of the BPUT which varies from 28000 to 32000. And on the tuition fees you don't get any confusion rather there are various scholarships which could be applied. Mostly you can complete your for your study at around 130000 which is very generous for a government college after that u need to pay hostel fees which is around 42000 per year. The Government of Odisha also provides various scholarships for general EBC SC ST students. For the general EBS students are the scholarship cost is around 20000 and for the SC ST contest scholarship around 50000 to 60000. The college also provides stipend to the junior research fellow. The hostel fees various from hostel to hostel but the per day meal charges is around 110 rupees. Under the various scholarships you get junior merit scholarship, Kalia scholarship and other scholarships for girls. Job opportunity is very poor in this college so be careful if you are taking admission in this coll

The college has various clubs such as imagics Sanskriti and dance club,music club NSS and many other club activities are done. The college also organisation all function which is called exuberance held every year by inviting various famous celebrities. There also various camps organised in the college such as blood donation camp food campus club activities branch activities etc the college also witness a central library which is under construction and will be completed soon which also make it the largest library in Ganjam. The college has also various latest technology such as 3D lab. Many students also run social groups for the welfare of the society and also donate for the society and they have a great impact in taking leadership and also great inspiration for the rest of the students. the college also arrange this various things for the nearest government school students so that they can also take advantage of learning and the campus life is interesting initially but boring afterwar

The college provides hostel facility to both boys and girls and for girls in campus hostel is there for boys they both incampus and up campus hostel. Asstay in encompass hostel the hostels are provided with large rooms with three people are to be accommodated the room spacious and the hostel is large as I am from Debabrata hall of residence. The meals are of average quality and you will never expect quality from the lunch dinner and breakfast. The hostels are not so affordable it's better to take the rooms outside but having meal is a very difficult task. For granted rented room it is better to take tata colony or some other places. The food provided in the hostel is mostly of average quality and you get potatoes every time and eating potatoes is a very difficult task you get too much oily food but still this is what you can expect from a government hostel at an affordable price for a good student it should not matter what you eat but it should matter are you study and how you learn.

Admission is mostly through BPUT counselling. For admission in civil branch you need to score at least 450000 in JEE. B p u t application fees is generally 500 rupees and you get notification from the deputy website. Special reservation is available for girls SC ST candidates. After the BPUT counselling, there maybe 2, 3 or 4 rounds counselling and then is for spot round. Mostly after JEE exam application are filled up or after ojee exam application are filled. After you got selected you can see your name in the selection list collage website and from the college you need to get all the necessary information and all the necessary documents needs to which provided during the time of admission. Then after you you get specific date so that you can go college with the college to verify your document physically and after the physical verification u get notification from the college. So after the specific dates are announced for the admission we are also alerted hostel . And after that class get started and you are given your specific registration number
