- Overall the college is good and its a great place to develop urself and gain lots of experience about life and several other fields.
- The infrastructure, the faculties, the staff and the hostel wardens, they are really good
- The professors and the dean are also very good, they are very active in their work.
Dislikes
- The placement scenario and the very poor network system.
- The college is in north-east which isnt that explored and the main city is too far from the campus.
- overall, the college is good and a good place for doing btech after clearing JEE examination
Course Curriculum Overview
I would rate my course and curriculum to be moderate as my course is not so popular but yeah its developing and will be better in the upcoming years. Also the faculty members are moderate. They are not very strict but good at least to the point we can understand.
Internships Opportunities
The college provides oncampus placements as well as off campus. The interships are average and a very few of them are able to avail them through their skills and opportunities. The intership is mainly available for people from cse background whereas other branches get very less preference.
Placement Experience
The placement scenario here at NITA is moderate and the companies that visit here are as follows: Cognizant, Amazon, Hitachi, Reliance, and a lot more FOR cse: 70% placed for ece: 70% placed for electrical: 60% for civil, mechanical and others: 50%
Fees and Financial Aid
So again the fee structure varies category wise for geneal people: 76k per sem for sc, st and obc: No tuition fee so around 20k max There are several scholarships provided here like siemens, ffe, nsp, and a lot other government scholarships The campus employment rate is about 60%
Campus Life
The campus life is good, also the campus is really very big and beautiful, with a lot of greenary. The infrastructure is also good, and the social clubs are also moderate. The campus has all the fascilities and opportunities for the students.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel rooms are fine with an accomodation of around 2 people in each room. The meal is also of good quality with proper nutrients and proteins in every meal we eat. The room has all the basic amenities needed to live and spend the day.
Admission
The admission was done through Josaa and Csab counselling. The entrance exam named JEE was to be cleared for getting into NITS. The cut off was different for different categories. The aspect of admission i didnt like was the category system which is present, it should be removed so as to avail equal chances for everyone.
