All about college from application form to placement

First of all studying from NIT provide great exposure to Industry leaders. There is a decent package in my branch . As per curriculum is concerned it is remained old but the way it is teached and discussed in the class it create thought process that help to critically analyze skills. Also there is lot of labs and workshops in our college where we apply theory part . As the industry is growing different skill are required which are not teaching in the college . To include new technology and incubation centers for the startups . As in our college in recent times there are many heckathon, techathon, enterpreneur clubs are present which continuely from time to time conduct many events. As in our college there are two exams in a Semester Mid Term and End Term and before each of them tests are conducted and in End Term whole syllabus is come . But the level of difficulty of exam is not much .Student study one night , 2- 3 days before mid and end term exam respectively.

In or after 3 rd year students become eligible for campus placement. Tuition Fee :- About 72,500 Rs. per semester (Two semester in a year). Extra fees - about 9,425 Rs. per semester Hostel Fees :- In First semester About 32,000 Rs (5000 refundable in 4 th year). second semester onwards about 22,500 Rs. Scholarships :- Full Fees Remission for SC and ST on tuition fees excluding extra fees,hostel fees. Two third Fees Remission for family income between 5 - 8 lakh only on tuition fees. Full Tuition Fees Remission for family income below 1 lakh excluding extra fees and hostel fees. My Total cost of studying here including all fees is about 80,000 per year excluding tuition fees , the main chunk is hostel fees and exta fees. Many Private scholarships are also provided from siemens, reliance,hdfc seniors would provide you link of them. From next year onwards i am going to start doing internships but as of now i am focus on building quailty skills .

Major fests of our college is MOKSHA in january happened after 4 year due to corona .technical festival are HACKNITA happened in 1 or 4 week of march. Our college library is india one of the biggest library , Here each book is provided for free upto 2 months after which there is fine.only there is some defeciency of novel,literature books. Each room is provided with a smart projector and data connection LAN. From our college many studen goes in Inter NIT and win medals in swimming,running and 5 km marathon. Our college cricket team is also going to IIT Dhanbad for their cricket match . ABV sports complex is present in our college which include gym,badminton,football,table-tennis,hand ball,basketball,kho-kho court,swimming pool which is not operational now. If a person is interested in any thing there is club for each and everything . NLC(liteary club),E-Cell(Business club),Mech Extremo(car building),Soar (Robot building ),we can(helping poor children educating them) and many more.

RO water, geyser on every floor with lift in hostel building. 24*7 wifi connectivity daily 2 gb data. Meal quality is quite low but changes after submitting feedback , good food for non vegetarian . From second after shifing in anothe hostel food quality increases. For registration process after doing offline registration in college they provide id of the mis portal where you can online submit fees and automatic room is alloted to you . After entering hostel you have to show them your payment slip and fill a form there provided by the hostel. In locality there is no room or PG available here if you are from another state the best option is to choose college hostel which are quite good. However for the students residing in city agartala or near a bus service is provided by the college which is about 8,000 Rs per semester.

For Eligibility of Course you have to take part in josaa and csab counselling from there you will be alloted the college and the branch . For Apply in NIT, you have to give the jee main and for IIT you have to also qualify for jee advance and obtain a good rank in between 1 - 16000 . You have to first fill out the form of jee main from the nta.nic.in website , the application fees is about 1000 Rs. Application Dates are generally came out in November and December .As Jee main conducted twice in the year you can also fill form of jee main in march-april for 2nd exam. As Reservation are concerned there are lot of advantages for example getting good college at low rank in exam, fee remission of SC,ST in tuition fees . EWS,General Students can also get different amount of fee remission by submitting income proof documents like family income certificate ,affidavit .
