REVIEW OF IIT PATNA

Actually strictly speaking I don't even know that this course existed. But you can say this is a new course and comes under computer science course with some deep mathematics concepts which are useful in trading, computer coding, artificial intelligence development, providing with a variety of options during placements. This year the curriculum has been changed and they made computer science 60 percentage and mathametics of 40 percentage. Some concepts of AIML(Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) are added into the curriculumn. I don't know how the teaching here for MNC is because I am a first year and there will be common syllabus for whole courses of first year. The exams here are actually easy that is if you even study half an hour each day. There will be two semesters per year and it is divided into mid semester and end semester where there will be quizzes for each mid sem and end sem. The exams here will be quite easy and the frequency is somewhat more.

Some of our seniors went to internships but i dont know all the roles offered because i am still in my first year.But i have heard that some pretty difficult projects are being done by them and some of their outcomes were excellent.

Campus placements here are very nice. The percentage of students getting placements is almost 100 percentage with some decent pakages with an average of 30 LPA. I can't name all the companies visiting here but some of the main companies are google ,amazon ,microsoft ,ABS ,etc.

The tuition fee here is quite high for a government college. But it is affordable as it is 100000 per each semester making it to be 2 lakhs per year (only tuition fees). If you have category the tuition fee will be zero. per year the fees will be around 150000 on an average (including tuition fees,services,mess and hostel). The job oppurtunities here are plenty with some decent slaries. Scholor ship is available only to category students .

If wee keep aside academics, annual and technical fests are held here every year. There are totally 4 fests. NEBULA FESTIVAL: It is for the incoming first years which is conducted by 2nd and 3rd year students but the total participation is from the first years where the freshers show their talent. Will be held after a month after the freshers are joined. CELESTA FESTIVAL: It is a technical festival where participation from other colleges are also encouraged. There will be various workshops on tech related things like Ethical Hacking,Coding,AIML etc. Will be held almost at the end of first semester in the year. INFINITO: It's technically not a fest but you can say it's sort of a sports festival. It is held in the first semester itself. ANWESHA FESTIVAL: It is an anual cultural festival (the biggest in IIT PATNA). It is held in the month of febraury.

For first years the hostel rooms are pretty big and three members are accomodated per room, in the second year two members will be allocated per room and in the third and fourth years only one student per room is allocated. As per mess the food quality will not be very good for most of them, especially for south states(myself being fro one of them) there will not enough salt and spiciness in the food. The curries heare are mostly made by potato. Registration for hostes are done on the day of joining near the registration room.

For admission into any IIT college you need to write and get more than the cutoff rank in JEE ADVANCED. There is no special requrement to be eligible for almost all of the courses in most of the IIT'S. The application form,fees and dates are found through JOSAA councelling website. If you have reservation then its beneficial, since you can even join this course with very low marks and all. The entrance is well famoused and everyone knows how difficult it will be regarding it's time management and the level of depth they go into a topic or concept. Most probably those who see these reviews have already taken the seat in b.tech MNC of IIT PATNA. Admission process is good and I hope they continue this itself. Because taking admission of some thousands of students from some million students is not that easy.
