MY REVIEW

I would rate the course curriculum a 8.5/10, the civil course basically provides us with core subjects related to civil background along with some extras like AI learning, coding practice etc and not to mention also the corporate recruitment training is provided for all branches. The curriculum overall can thoroughly provide the students with everything for the real world. A well equipped laboratory with all necessary things required. The frequency of the exams are quite fast like a whole month is needed to get done with theory exams, practical and also alongside that they provide us with a special course called theme project(similar to special projects in final year) so that almost takes up a month to get done with exams. The areas of improvement could include as in the laboratory terms. Being able to do water resources practical would be fun but we still don't have that lab in our campus. Hope we get one soon.

After the final year, the students become eligible for placments. The placement scene isn't really much open to us and we're only told about it more once we reach our final year in college. The percentage of students getting placed can be said to be moderate. Also the highest package uptil now was 10LPA. There are various companies visiting and it happens mostly during the placment season which is during probably april-may. My plans after getting the degree could be applying for GATE and clearing it to continue with my Master's and PhD.

The tuition fee is 50k per semester with all laboratory fees and tuition fees included. They also provide hostel and bus facilities. The hostel fees could come about something like 33k for single room and 22k for double room per semester. As in bus fees, it's nearly about 8k per semester which is a quite reasonable. National scholarship including nsp and state scholarship can be availed by all needy students. Also if you're a scholar who ranks among the top in class and has a cgpa of 9.0+ in a semester you would be given 50% relief in your semester fees and for 8.0+ holders 25% relief is given.

There's also many events that are organized throughout the year in the university. The major ones could be namely ICARIA(tech fest held in jan or feb), NOVATOS(freshers party held in sept) and ICTHALION(annual sports week held in nov Or dec). There are also various clubs existing within the campus such as coding clubs, dance clubs, singing clubs and much more. All these clubs also organize many fun activities monthly. As for the library, there are many available books and journals available.

The admission process was quite smooth. You can either take admission through an entrance exam known as TBJEE Or direct admission is possible too. If your rank is quite higher in TBJEE Or JEE Mains you might get some relief in the admission amount. Eligibility of the course requires 12+ in pcmb Or pcm. The application forms are either available online or you can directly contact the university for it. A semester usually is completed within 4-5 months. The mid terms take place after one and half month of classes followed by the end term and practical exams after a month of classes. The difficulty level of the exam is slightly moderate. Like considering based on subjects few can be stated as tough but the topics that are discussed in class mostly cover up the whole question paper. As for areas of improvement probably some better benches or seating arrangements as done in auditoriums because it's quite difficult to see if you're sitting in last benches.
