College is good as it is among very few autonomus colleges in pune but u need to compromise for the facilities, campus and surrounding of college as its still a village.
Entrance Preview
According to my marks I got admission in this college through cap rounds. I was a direct second-year student that is after diploma I took admission in this college.I thought the college is becoming autonomous so the infrastructure, faculty, and placements will be better in this college so I selected it.
Course Curriculum Overview
College Is autonomous so they have designed there own syllabus. The syllabus designed by Nagpur branch and under the pune university. The faculty have authority to teach and check the ans papers of students.
Internships Opportunities
No. College does not provide internships. But if you are interested then you can contact companies and join for internships by getting permission from college. But after that faculty do not support you in matter of attendance. College says attain lectures compulsory but both things are not possible.
College Events
College is not so interested in events. Still some events are taken like Makar sankranti Annual function Saree day mismatch day traditional day Project competitions Sports competitions basically only cricket National levelPaper presentations College situated in pune still ganesh festival is not celebrated in college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees structure is so much expensive as compared to all facilities provided. There is no changes in infrastructure of college from establishment. Faculty is worst according to that amount of fees and the amount of fees is 1.1 lack per annum. And if u see the campus of college u will start laughing by hearing the fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
No college does not provide any loan of scholarships. You can apply for state government scholarships. But college even not allow to pay fees in installments and did not allow students to give exam if half or some fees is unpaid.
Campus Life
Gender ratio varies according to branch of engineering. And about campus life we just get drainage smell in lawn area. U cant sit in lawn area as they water it drainage outcomes. There is no car or bike parking for students in campus. In all seasons drainage line is overflow so students does not prefer to walk or spend time in campus. And the canteen facility is so worst.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are so expensive. So I will not recomend the college hostels. And the food quality in mess is also so bad as I heard from my classmates. Mess incharge does not improve quality of food after continues complaints. College hostels look so dirty and in rainy seson the water lakes are form in passage of hostel.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes sinior students are so helpful. Alumini network is not helpful as my opinion. No alumini member visits classes for review about entire college.
Exam Structure
Semester pattern is followed. There are 8 semesters for the course. Unit tests are taken in semisters and endsem exams are taken at end. After results failed subject paper is again arranged in next 10-15 days so the chances of year drop are nigligible.
Admission
I got admission in this college through common admission process which helds every year for after 12th and after diploma students seperately. By filling colleges optional form and listing the colleges according to preference u can get admission in any college according to merit.
Faculty
Faculty in college are well qualified but the teaching skills are of not that level. College recruiting new facultys with higher experience to improve teaching practices. Teaching mainly focused on practical knowledge. Hope the new faculty will improve the standards.
