Shaping Tommorow’s Engineers : A review of Mechanical Engineering Curriculum at IIT Bhubaneswar .

As a mechanical engineer student at IIT Bhubaneswar the course curriculam impressively blends relevance .Intergrating modern technologies,it equips students with practical skills and theortical knowledge.Faculty improved a lot in research sector and they prepare students for real world challenges effectively

the companies offered internship are jindal steel,tata steel,accenture,Tvs moters,adobe etc and most of them offered a software intermship program.The project I took is under my professor regarding machine learning i am just leaning machine learing write now and I did some small project in cpp also.

From 7th semester students are eligible for campus placementsSome of the companies visited are zomato ,bpcl,hpcl,tata steel etc. The highest pakage is around 60 lakhs per year and the average pakage is 15 lakhs per year.Only 50 percent of the students got placed this year.The placements in this collage are w=very poor as compared to other IITs of same range.I should try for aan off campus job may be through linkedin ,unstop etc My plan is to get a software job after completing my degree or by writing gate I am planing to crack a government job.

My admission fee for each semester is approximately 105000/- and the Hostel fee is 18000/- hence for each semster I pay a total amount of 123000/-.I donot have any scholarships but collage have some of the scholarships avaliable. I am currently not doing any job in campus or out of the campus.There are no campus employment oppotunities.I take loan from bank and pay my fees right now I need to clear the loan after finishing my btech degree.

The infrastructure provided in campus has improved a lot from my joining till date and there are many books available in library.The annual technomanagement fest of IIT Bhubaneswar is Wissenaire which will be held in march every year.The facilites are developed and advacned in our classroomsThe sports and extracurricular activites are very active and everyone will participate in that.All the clubs like photography society ,drams , arts society ...etc every society is active and most of the people participate in their intrested domain.

Each and every one will get single rooms with a chair,table and bed. the hostel accommodation is perfect but the meal quality is only 60 percent most of the people donot prefer to est the food from hostel.Registraion process is quiet easy and simple.The overall hostel and meal is affordable for a middle class person. There won't be any power cut or water cut in the hostel and I feel safe living here.

I wrote advanced exam and got qualified.We can find the appication form and appication fee etc in the official website of NTA. I presebtly donot have any reservation but while I was writing the advanced exam I have EWS resevation.The elgibility for this course is quailfying advanced exam. The time given for the exam is suffient for a student to score good marks.Improvements in admission process are like the amount for chosseing collages should be much less then the present fee because evaryone cannot effort the money rest all the admission process is fine. The cutoof of for advanced is around 40 marks and subject wise we need to get atleast six marks in each and every subject.The course i got is mechanical engineering in IIT Bhubanseswar for ews rank of 3504 and a general rank ok 22320. The exam paper will be so tough. The students with reeservations like sc and st will have more benifits and the cut off mrks for them will be very less.
