Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is charted by the Kerala Technological university (KTU).It comprises of various subjects and varieties of programs in different categories.As I mentioned before the programs conducted by various organizations like IEEE,IEDC gives a great experience and help to build a network with eminent people in this field.Even though these organizations provide programs it's not fulfilling the joy of the students this is due to a poor approach from management in conducting programs within the campus.The teaching methods can be given a 7 on 10.The University conducts an odd semester exam and an even semester exam which happens between December to January and June to July respectively. Internal exams and lab exams are also conducted.
Placement Experience
The students become eligible for campus placement from 6th semester onwards.The approaching of companies were average.The visiting of big multi national companies are rare. Companies like Sutherland,Apollo are the ones that main make the offers to students.The highest package is 850000 per year and average package is 200000 per year.The percentage of students getting placement 60 percent only. After getting this degree there is a plan of startup which we 4 boys are working since the 1st semester.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure varies according to the medium of entry to the college,merit students are provided with low amount of fee comparing to NRIs and Management students. The overall cost of education will be 200000 per year and will be 800000 after completing the course.The scholarship for students are very rare.The placement days begin at the time of 3rd year.
Campus Life
The college provided a freshers day at begging of the academic journey it was all about vibing with music,dance and stuff. When it comes to technical festivals the organization and clubs always shows a great decency. The library provide all possible books and journals based on the course with a nice atmosphere. The class contains a typical black board with a smart class facility.The college conducts sports and arts day at the time of odd and even semesters respectively.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel apartment comprises of a 2 rooms,kitchen and a hall attached with a bathroom. The meal were provided 4 times with a decent quality. The lunch and evening tea will be served in the canteen during working days and will be provided to the hostel during holidays Registration process for hostel was done during the admission time they charge an amount of 5200 per month.
Admission
Minimum plus two qualification along with standard scores of KEAM.Lateral entry,NRI and Management is also availableApplication form is available online in college official site and fees is 2000,the dates may vary between September an August.Management seats are also a vailable. First payment is approx 5000.Seat is confirmed only after the payment of this fee.further semester fees are there, 50000 in each semester.Both odd sem and even sem exam is there,odd in between December and January,even in between june and July.Internals and lab exams are also conducted.
