Marine engineering provide you handsome salary adventure life you can travel across so many countries most important uniform We have workshop here where we practicing the work which I will do on ship Collage provide us a decipline life everything is scheduled classes PT

My collage provide 100 percent placement even for lady cadets placement are starting from 1st yr from the second yr male cadets also started getting placement Chevron synergy NYK fleet so many companies used to come to our collage to place students

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure-275000 pr yr If you are a girl than only you will get scholarship by DG shipping company upto 5lakh within 4yr course Like for 2023 entry fee structure is 275000 but it may be increase in coming yr

Campus Life

Here we celebrate so many things like lithosphere foundation day and our favorite tempest Asia largest marine fest which was conducted every year in the month of February it is days fest it consists cacophony

Hostel Facilities

Hostel are too good one room For one lady cadet Mess food is not so good but still far better than normal collage here we get so many variety in food You cant rent a room here it is necessary to be in a hostel

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

Eligibility -10+2 pass with PCM With 75%in english subject For exam form you need to visit IMU CAMPUS website there you will get each and evey information NO here No reservation is applicable Your maths,and english should be strong after that Little bit general knowledge ,level is not so tough you can easily crack it Everything is proper and process executed on time

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

Good for placements, excellent hostel life and good to learn, apply and fun. A college for all round development.

I have searched for many other colleges but i chose this because it is the oldest marine engineering college and has a benchmark legacy, and this college has shaped the merchant navy of the nation. It has been known for producing the finest marine engineers. I preffered marine engineering over other courses because this is a type of training that ensures your wholesome development.
