- The constant pressure put on by the senior especially the immediate seniors and the authorities that is the ones running the college to become more disciplined in the campus.
- The physical activity that are done by the cadets in the campus which greatly helps in becoming fit and healthy and in having a great body shape.

Course Curriculum Overview
• The curriculum prepare cadet for future academic venture and for future ventures in the sailing world. • I am currently in no position to comment on the field of improvement which are to be made in the course curriculum and teaching methods. • The frequency and the timing of exams according to my perspective is very ideal as it happens in the month of June just some time after the 12th board exams get over.
Placement Experience
• Students become eligible for campus placements from 3rd year onwards that is from semester fifth and sixth. • The companies that visit to provide job opportunities to the cadets in the campus are Mediterranean Shipping Company, Pacific Basin, NYK, Scorpion, British Petroleum and many more. • The percentage of students getting placed by the end of their 4 years in the campus is somewhere between 85 and 90%
Fees and Financial Aid
• The complete cost of our education for 4 years is 11 lakh Indian rupees. This includes the tuition fees, the service fees, and all other compulsory charges. • I am in no position to talk about the name and amount of scholarships for financial aid which are available for students in the campus. • The employment opportunities that come to the campus for providing job opportunities normal from big shipping companies like NYK, Mediterranean Shipping Company is enormous.
Campus Life
• The fest of Tempest held each year in the college in the month of February is done and conducted in a very grand manner. This fest is often known as the biggest Maritime best of Asia. • The range and accessibility of books and journals in the library is very bad and is a matter of serious concern in the campus and for the cadets in the campus.
Hostel Facilities
•The facilities provided in the rooms are fans, lights and well renovated floors and walls. • The meals provided in the dining hall are of bad quality and also is a matter of concern for the cadets who consume it as it lacks hygiene also. • The registration process for hostel and affordability went on smoothly as it should have. • I am in no position to talk about any locality for renting a room or PG
Admission
• The eligibility of the course is clearing IMU CET exam and passing the 12th board exams with at least 65 percent. • The application form, application fees and all other details are all available in the official IMU website
