Likes

College environment is very good with full greenery
Along with academics,sports facilities are very good
Clubs, fests and societies really help us a lot for making a lot of friends and get to know lot of seniors who will help us a lot in future

Dislikes

Mess food is really disappointing. That was the main problem
Some unnecessary courses will be there which are not at all related to our field just in the name of credits

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is actually good.But we will also have some unnecessary courses which are not at all related to our field for some extra credit kind of things.Apart from that depth of subjects,conduction of exams everything will be good

Internship opportunities are really low in our college. Most of the students apply internships off campus. But students who get internships will get placed very easily in their final year. It is very important to present our resume genuinely . No extra things should be added. If added we will be caught for sure

Placement Experience

College placements are like average now. previously it was very good but it decreased recently .But still placements this year improved compared to last year. Highest package is 64lpa this year and average package is around 17lpa. Percentage of placements is around 70

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure is about 1,20,000 per semister approximately which is semister fee.Along with that we will have 18000 pet semister as mess and hostel fee . But some exceptions will be there in fee based on reservations

Campus Life

This life is completely different. Along with academics, sports and clubs participation are also given equal importance. Participation in clubs improve our confidence and communication skills which are very important in future.There are many fests, societies, clubs in the college which help us learn skills and also many basic things like communication

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are very good in our college Single occupancy will be given to the students.Mess food quality is like average and menu is also like kind of average only.We cannot expect so good food from the hostel but hostels are really good.Registration process will be very smooth.College seniors form groups among students and guide during registration

Admission

Admission process is through entrance exams.First Jee Mains is conducted for inter 2nd year students .The students qualified in this are allowed to write Jee Advanced .Through this exam admissions are taken into IIT's

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Placement Experience:

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

Placements are ok but majority of the placement are for the IT and Cse sectors, but there are some core companies which offers a good packages. Around 40-50 % students pare placed in the companies and more over most of the students are up for the higher studies and cracking GATE exam.

Placement Experience:

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .

My college experience

I applied for geophysics and mining in ISM Dhanbad. But I filled my current college and branch above them. Also these branches are not very popular among students but as I didn't scored very well in my JEE advance examination, I had very few choices. To get into an IIT you first need to clear JEE mains cutoff and then clear JEE advance.
