- There many fests going on campus,and we can enjoy a lot and the campus is nearest to many hill stations like mussorie etc
Dislikes
- The most disliked thing is the food and it is not suitable for the south people
- The rooms are not good for the btech 1 St years ,there will be triple sharing in a small room
- If you r from south ,the weather will be completely new for you ,here the both summer and winter is peak
Course Curriculum Overview
By qualifying IIT jee exam,the exam is completely based on maths,physics, chemistry.The ece branch is the most tougher branch.and the teachers in the IIT are very well qualified,and done their PhD in foreign in other countries and have a lot of experience.

Tbe internship in IIT roorkee starting from the 3rd year and the internships offers comes from many big companies such a Microsoft, Google, amazon, and it will is sem holidays,if you have a good projects then we can expect you will get a good intern.and the stephend is good
Placement Experience
In IITs there are a lot of opportunities.The campus interviews will be going on in every year.There are lot of companies who visited of our campus and the highest package will be approx 1.5 cr onsite offer,Max students will get placed in campus placements ant the rest will go for higher studies,my plans after degree is to do a good job
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure at IIT is not that low as you was expected the fees is higher compared to PhD and mtech students,but you can avail scholarships if your family income is less than 100000 then the whole tution is free and you have to pay only the hostel fees .and we can avail other scholarships such national scholarship portal,reliance scholarships.
Campus Life
Aa the IIT roorkee is well known for the infrastructure of the main building Thomson,and the we have a lot of fests,the main two fest held one in October and the other in March.The range and accessibility of books at IITs is a lot there is aa vast collection of books,even though the facilities and labs are highly maintained and well equipped with the latest technology,there are many clubs of technical and cultural based on your interest u can join.if you r good at sports you can get in to the Inter IITs tournament there are lot may apportunities in IIT.by doing all these if you want to survive in IIT you should know the time management.
Hostel Facilities
The rooms will not be like the private universities rooms,the rooms are smaller and you have to adjust in the rooms with the new environment,of you are from the south ,you should be adjust to the north food and its taste,it will be difficult for the few months after that it will be good.tbe hostel fees is about 100000 of year
Admission
The entrance exam I appeared is jee advanced.it is the India's most toughest exam in India.I have qualified in that exam and I scored the marks 178 and my all India rank is 3145 and my obc is 301 rank.and there is councelling process after the exam I have make the colleges list by my ranks and my likes,after the councelling i got seat in iitroorkee ece in obc category
