Course Curriculum Overview
The course is tilted more towards theoretical knowledge. Any student who wishes to pursue any practical knowledge has to take up courses himself.
Internships Opportunities
No, there is no internship provided by the college. The students have to look for it themselves. I have recently completed an unpaid internship in the marketing field for a firm. It was a very informative experience.
Placement Experience
TCS, Hero Motor Corp. and John Deere are some regular student recruiters of our college. Around 40-50% students get placed with an average package of 4.5 lakhs per annum.
College Events
An annual national level technical fest-Colosseum, national cultural and fine arts fest-Accolade and a literary fest-Litrosphere are conducted in my college. The average footfall for these fests is around 3000. The organization committee comprises entirely students. There is minimal support from college authorities.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees is very much affordable. It amounts around to Rs. 30000 per semester, which includes tuition, hostel and food bill (it varies according to the food bill though).
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, there are FFE scholarships provided to selected students. I was not eligible for any scholarship.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, I reside in a hostel. The rooms are in triple sharing for the first year, double sharing for the second year and triple sharing for the third and final year. No, there is no PGs available. The food is quite decent in my hostel.
Alumni/Alumna
There is an elaborate platform for the student-alumni interaction. There is a fest 'Samanvay-The annual alumni meet' of our college dedicated entirely for student-alumni interaction.
Faculty
The faculty is very much experienced. Nearly majority of the faculty is post-graduate and PHD from IIT's. The faculty is not very much interactive. The student-teacher interaction is only limited to the classrooms.
