Course Curriculum Overview
I choose electrical engineering and it has so far panned out to be pretty good. Saying that a lot of focus is on practical learning would be a lie. Although the student with an immense personal inclination towards research and hands-on experience can get a chance for that.
Internships Opportunities
We have to do that on our own. Preferably in sem breaks after the completion of 3rd- year. Stipend obviously depends on the kind of company one gets.
Placement Experience
Well not very good. Infact it's pretty bad. Although some big companies do come here but the ratio of students placed to those who don't get placed is not something to boast about.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The curriculum is pretty affordable. Tuition fee is very less. Food and accommodation is insanely cheap as compared to other colleges. Being a day scholar I am unable to give exactly the lump sum amount of money that gets spent in one semester on education including living expenses here in Pantnagar but if one would compare it with any other college of same stature a mammoth difference could be seen.
Hostel Facilities
I personally am a day scholar but the hostel rooms campus for girls are on sharing and PGs are not available. The rent is not a lot. The food is average, on some days below average.
Faculty
Faculty of my department is highly qualified and experienced. Intractivness of the faculty is good in general. Some classes take place in generic, traditional classrooms while some do in smart classrooms. It depends on the demand of the subject and/or professor's choice of teaching method as to which classroom the class takes place in.
