Campus Life
Campus life is quite different than other colleges if we see . Everyday sharp at 05 30 hours we wake up with a hooter call . We gather and go for physical training . Classes go on till 17 30 hours . We have an annual fest Tempest , everyone enjoys it . We also have passing out parade in which the passing out batch is felicitated with rewards and a parade is done in honour of that .
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility to be honest could be better . A better standard of living can be expected. It is very afforaldable as it is government based college . Meals are not good . Your tastebuds will not be happy during these four years . The hostel fees is 30000 rupees .

Merchant navy is a career in which students learn to be an officer and gain officer like qualities which one require for working onboard ship . To join this field one must give an all india examination known as IMUCET(Indian maritme university common entrance exam) . After this if you gain a good rank , you will get colleges according to that . I got a good rank that is why i got imu kolkata erst DMET / MERI .
