It provides an opportunity for students coming from families which are middle class to study Engineering in feasible cost .

I opt for this college as it was near to my home and the fee structure of this college was less compared to other colleges in my district.Some family friends also said that it is a good college.The college was in its initial phase in the time period I got admission there.

The overall assessment of the course curriculum shows that it needs to be updated from time to time. Engineering is a professional course and closely related to Industry,the course curriculum needs to be relevant for industrial exposure. Unfortunately, it is not so. This makes the students unemployable to a certain extent.

No my college did not provide internship.I find this a major disadvantage. Students have to find an internship opportunity themselves.

This is another major downside of my college. The placement is very low even for the students who successfully completed the course.The amount of core companies visiting our college is close to nil. The companies those who visit are usually marketing and call centres.

There will be an Arts Day named "Genex" every year , our college. This function in order to provide the students an opportunity to showcase their talents in the field of Art. A sports meet is also conducted every year. In the last year, our college hosted it's very first tech fest since it's beginning.

Fee structure is different for each and every student. When you admit your ward in this college,try to get a clear idea about the different fees charged upon you and try to compare that with the fees of another student of the same course. Lots of miscrepancies are done in the fee structure.

Scholarship is being provided by the government for students who are members of the scheduled castes and minorities.College does help in procedures for getting education loan.

The campus life is pretty much boring. It is limited to , hours of study. The workload for an engineering student is far beyond imagination. The labs in this college are above average. I didn't had any issues with the quality of equipment in the lab. College does conduct extracurricular activities but they are less in number.

The hostel building is situated near to the college building. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. Hostel rooms are spacious and comfortable. It provides safety for girls. Hostel provides internet connection and Electricity. The rent is affordable. The quality of mess food is good. It is homely food but lacks variety.

The alumni network is present in our college but it is not that active. Senior students will be busy with their higher education or jobs .They does have a limitation.

The admission process to the merit seats are through a state level entrance examination.A rank list will be prepared based on the mark scored in both the Higher secondary level exams and the entrance exams.Students will have an option to fill their top priority institutions and courses. The admission to management seats are done by the college directly.

The faculty in my department were very much knowledgeable and had a helping mentality towards fellow students. They were very friendly and supportive. The classes were taken in a manner through which the complex engineering topics are broken down into simple blocks which are easy to understand.
