IIT JEE entrance exam and i got a rank of 3000 and it helped me get an admission here interview was simple and easy and creative one they asked me about my profile and all and some technical terms and why i want to be an engineer and for me it was nothing but a casual conversation.

It is the only new IIT with civil engineering as its one of the discipline. When it comes to course curriculum iit has more to offer from any other engineering colleges the syllubus is one of the toughest from. Any other universities and the lectures given are the best and even it is used by the near by engineering colleges Choosing the right course can provide you a suitable head start in the career of your choice .

Internship cell has been working up to the mark many of the students went abroad for there paid internships, Placement is 90-95 percent every year with highest of 12 Lakh and average of 4 Lakh though it differs for each discipline. There is winter research program , There is certain criterias for applying for the intership program and we get a stipend amount of rs 8000 per month for the same.

Top companies visited the campus are Samsung, ONGC, BPCL, l and t are few of them. Snapdeal visited the college this year and 175 students got placed , l and t infotech infosys ,ibm etc are some of the companies where our students got placed and leading a satisfied life facebook is one of the best company so far visited our campus and offered a package of around 80 lakhs per annum to one of our student oracle offered 1.2 crore package to one student too.

It has two major festivals ALMA Fiesta - the cultural fest and Wissenaire its techno-management fest both of them have started to make a name in the eastern part of the country. many activities such as cultural week, festival celebrations, sports general championship as a part of extra curricular activities are organised every year. 68600 per year it is feasible when looking in the fact that i am an iit ian i dont think the fees here in expensive when comparing to other iit institution, it is an average fee structure and for sc /st students it is 23000 rs. There is a one time payment of rs 5000, payment in each semester of rs 50000 refundable caution deposit of rs 12000 and medical insurance per annum of rs 700 it is feasable only.

Every minority scholorship and merit scholorship is offered here girls get moulana asad scholorship ,ministry of minority scholorship ,post metric scholorship etc are a few popular scholorship availed here various sports scholorship also been awarded here.

Boy to girl ration here is 11/1 which is poor when compared to other iits even though people from different culture is a part of this outstanding college together we have fun ,there is politics going on very healthy debates goin on in every subjects , political stand by each parties there is a great bonding between every branches . There is no ragging at all and when i joined the college seniors there helped me to go through each and every section of the colleges and they even invited me for several parties and all.
