Actually I got chemical engineering in IIT Patna from my jee rank ,but after studying hard for 1 year here i got branch change option as my cpi was good,so i opted for mathematics and computing here as I love to do maths . For real world we can use MnC knowledge in several domains as in data analysis ,software engineering,machine learning,statistics,and a lot more. According to me ,profs shuold be more oriented towards doing real world problems so that we may get bettter understanding. The frequency of exam is quite a lot ,every now and then we are giving some or other exam ,quizzws,assignments.Difficulty level is more or less medium as told in class during teaching

There are so many internship opportunities in iit patna,the actual intern season is in 3rd year but so many offers for girls internship will strat in 2nd year only,for example we have google step for girls which provided stipend of rupees 1 lakh for 4 girls students in iit patna.also de shaw,flipkart and a lot more companies are there. You need to be skillfull also ready with your resume with some good projects for intern .

for placements officially in 4th year people are placed but some people depending upon theoir skills also get some PPO pre placemnt offers in 3rd year. companies visited are Google ,oracle,paytm ,hdfc,many more. i don't have much information regading actual placement stats so you can google it for nore genuine answers. in cs,electrical ,mechab=nical there was 100% placement ad approx 80 and 70 % for civil and chemical departments respectively. my plan is to crack UPSC after my btech graduation because i want to work on ground level for our country's development.

Tuition fee is 1 lakh rupee per semester for general category student but i belongs to ews category so m fee is reduced by 66 % so , i need to pay 33000 per sem as my tuition fee.Hikes are not as such i think because i have not seen as of now in 2 years.if person belongs to sc/st category then his/her tuition fee will be exempted.Best thing about government college is that if you genuinely need scholarship because of your weak economic condition there is one Merit Cum Means Scholarship(MCM) which you can avail (I am also availing this ).In this your tuition fee will be exempted if your cpi is good, you have ews certificate of income less than 450000.Also if you are sc/st then also you can avail this scholarship Complete cost of my education is 100998 per year. There are scholarships like mcm , buddy4study and so on you will be notified on your institute mail id. i have not taken any employment yet as i m in 2nd year but my friend got placed in got GOOGLE STEP with stipend 1 lakh rupees

Approximately every weekend we have something or other taking place round the corner. We have Anwesha(cultural fest) in the month of jan-feb,Celesta (techno-management exuberance) in november,infinito(annual sports fest) ,reverberance and a lot more. In library you can get all academics related books ,newspapers,journals,fictional and non finctional books also. Not all classes are as big as central lecture hall which have capacity of 600 people .usually classses are in tut block which have classes similar to those we have in school times.but all have projectors ,screens,mic,black and white board,etc. sports culture is also good in iit patna we have different places for badminton ,cricket ,basketball,football,etc for almost everything you can get a club here like for speaking related we have hoot,for painting or so we have Vincetroke,for dancing we have exousia,we have SAARC, NJACK, and so on

in room i m in 2nd year so we are having double occupancy room and in1st year we are having triple occupancy room in Asima (girls hostel).it has 2 fans,window,curtains ,proper lightening ,beds, table chairs,2 almirahs ,lan port,etc. food like any other hostel it is good and bad both sometimes,actually it depends on the mess vendor ,our previous vendor were pathetic vut we ahve raised our voices and get him chamges and now they are working fine.aslo i want to tell mess food in iit patna is more likes by north indians than south indians. you do'nt need to do anything extra i think you must be take hostel if you are doing betch from here,you just need to pay fee and just start availing thr facilities.

Admission process was quite good ,as a fresher everyone is worrying about is the step done by himher is ok or something more is required.First you need to qualify jee advance then use that result and do Jossa councelling ,you can do it from here :jossa.nic.in all the remaining information for councelling you can get from this official site then you will get some mock allocation results beforehand the actual college you get. For reservation ,you need to submit valid income certificate/caste certificate and then you will be selected for some low rank also ,you can also get some fee reduction in IIT's.JEE advance was quite popular exam ,it had a fixed date and exam is of 6 hours in 2 slots of 3 hour each with a break of 1 hour in between ,you will get all this information from your admit card, I think everything is good in the process just students need to be attentive regarding dates ,documentation during the process.
