Quick review of IIT Bhubaneswar

I had intrest in circuits and their designing and I am also eager that how the internal parts of a machine works. So I chose electrical engineering. Actually we are having courses like electric machines which links to real world applications. In Teaching , they should be alert like everyone in the class should follow. They should concentrate not only on front benchers. The timing of exam is good. The difficulty level is more.

Actually there are not much opportunities for internships in our college. Very few people get interns here. We should work hard for getting intern. Google step intern for women's and flipkart also came to our college this year.

From 5th semester students become eligible for internships and from 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. Google, flipkart, Amazon, Brane, ICICI bank, Vedanta, Tata, TCS, TVS etc. 53% are placed. Average package - 15lpa, Highest package - 64lpa. After getting the degree i plan for job. But due to recession the current placement percentage is getting reduced. Hope it will be increased.

The tuition fee increases for every semesters by 6,000 to 7000 around so. There will be fee remission for ews, st, sc categories only. My entire fee for 4 years is nearly 10 lakhs. We worked very hard to achieve IIT seat which is government. But we are paying very high for IIT. I am so sad about this. MCM scholarship is available for less income and decent cg should be maintained. I have undertook maintenance secretary post.

We have 4 fests. 1 sports(Ashwamedha),1 cultural (Alma Fiesta), 1 entrepreneurial (E-SUMMIT) , 1 Tech fest(WISSINAIRE). Earlier we don't have a separate lecture complex. But now we have 3 lecture Hall complexes with centralised AC. We have all sports and also many extracultural activities like dance society, singing society, photography etc. Actually these societies and clubs are very useful in students life. It's helps in overall development of the student. All these sports are available in SAC which is a multipurpose room. We enjoy our campus life. In students life study and all these extra circullar activities are equally important.

In the room we have cupboard, desk, chair, bed, rods for curtains, lights, fan etc. Actually the meal quality is ok. Some specific days it is good but somedays it's not good. The breakfast and lunch are ok but dinner is not upto the mark. The hostel rooms are nice with all facilities and the registration process also went good.

The admission process was smooth. All the forms regarding joining of college was issued in JOSAA website and instructions was very clear. Our teachers also helped us to make our admission very smoothly. In order to enter into IIT first we have to crack JEE MAINs and in that only top people will be eligible for writing the JEE ADVANCED exam. Only the top 40 thousand people will be selected and those will be getting seats according to their ranks in 23 IIT's. Yes I have an OBC non cremy later reservation and also a girls quota reservation. The advanced exam difficulty level is high and we started preparation since 9th class. The admission process through the loan procedure is somewhat difficult.
