Course Curriculum Overview

Cicruclum is fanstatics you can score good marks and good rank in the college with that you can get good rank on you batch for the exam you need to focus on the basic you get good marks and rank every time you give the exam don't need to fear for exam

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 2250000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees of IMU is increased to 11 lakh for 4 years year but at our time it was 9 lakh for year but the fees is ok it's not a large amount it's ok to have such fees and it's ok to have such fees its not affordable and easy

Campus Life

College is working on infrastructure and it will be good for the college to develope such good road and building and it will be a good college for the future and I think college will be in great hand of DMET cadet

Admission

You need to clear IMU CET exam with good marks it's a 200 marks exam and you need to get good marks of around 120 to get into IMU college and you need to have a good marks and good knowledge of PCM with that you need to have a good maths and aptitude knowledge

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

Good for placements, excellent hostel life and good to learn, apply and fun. A college for all round development.

I have searched for many other colleges but i chose this because it is the oldest marine engineering college and has a benchmark legacy, and this college has shaped the merchant navy of the nation. It has been known for producing the finest marine engineers. I preffered marine engineering over other courses because this is a type of training that ensures your wholesome development.
