Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is easy and somehow on point the syllabus conisist of practical and theory exam with 70 percent written and 30 percent with college you need 50 percent marks of clear the exam teacher use the projector to teach the student and it is helpfull for the d Student

Placement Experience

From the 5 semester you are eligible for placement till the 8th semester you can seat for the placement and the average epacage is around is 6 lakh pe annum which sgod collee almni help you get placement in college

Fees and Financial Aid

Tutiton fees is 9 lakhs for 4 year and 2.25 lakhs for one year and with that there are several states and national level scholarship for lady cadet for the merchant Navy and it is very encouraging for the lady cadet and it oodfor male cadet there is not such benefit

Campus Life

Tempest and lithosphere is the annual fest tempest.asisa biggest marine fest and lithosphere is the annual literature fest and it is very good and encouraging for the cadet and t is good for the cadet to enjoy with sports faculty in our college is great and there are allot of sports in our college swimming to cricket

Admission

To join the merchant Navy you must have 60 percent in class 12 pcm and 50 percent in English class 12 and class 10 with you must clear imu cet exam with good rank of 1200 for good campus selection and you must have knowledge about merchant Navy and imu cet exam occur twice a year once in Feb and once in august

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

Good for placements, excellent hostel life and good to learn, apply and fun. A college for all round development.

I have searched for many other colleges but i chose this because it is the oldest marine engineering college and has a benchmark legacy, and this college has shaped the merchant navy of the nation. It has been known for producing the finest marine engineers. I preffered marine engineering over other courses because this is a type of training that ensures your wholesome development.
