after the admission process hostel will alloted to the student .first year girls get cauvery hostel and after first year they shift in the kalpana chawla hostel and boys get h1,h2 ,h3 and h6 hostel they get triplet room in their first year but after ist year their hostel also change anf then they have choice for single ,double and triple room sharing but girls get single room from the first year to last year in their room they get a bed,a table for study with sufficient space and a chair which is comfortable ,a switch ,a fan,a tubelight and a almirah also and rooms are not too small not so big room are airy also the meals we get frrom the mess is not too tasty and healthy it is only ok and quality is also ok ok. after the physical verification we need to fill the form for hostel and we give our provisional rollsheet and our college tution fees as a proof that we are student of this college and then we need to pay hostel fees and then we get a room

admission in the national institute of technology ,kurukshetra is through national level entrance exam like jee mains, jee advanced for UG and GATE for PG programs.and the cuttoff rank is different for all program in nit kurukshetra for example last year the cuttoff for computer engineering is 8104 and for informaton technology cuttoff is 10824 and for artificial intelligence and machine learning cuttoff is 9607 and this program is added in 2023 in nit kurukshetra.if you comes under reservation like sc/st/obc/ews you get the program even at higher rank than the general category student .to get admission in nit kurukshetra
