Course Curriculum Overview
a good marine engineering curriculum should cover fundamental principles of engineering, naval architecture, marine propulsion systems, marine structures, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, electrical systems, control systems, and maritime regulations. It should also incorporate practical training such as ship visits, internships, and hands-on experience with maritime equipment. Ultimately, it's essential to evaluate the curriculum based on its alignment with industry requirements and its ability to prepare students for successful careers in marine engineering.
Placement Experience
Campus placement is almost 100 percent every year almost all students will be placed at various companies all over the world so many companies visited every years on our campus and gives placement after examination and interviews
Fees and Financial Aid
Regarding fees structure 100000 in every odd semester and 125000 in every even semester . This makes this to be very economical as comparing to other university available in entire country. This include your tution fee, hostel fees and sports fees. Additional exam fee you have to pay during examination which is 500 per subject with GST
Campus Life
On this campus senior junior bonding is too special which make this college different from other and the hostel and class room are too clean and infrastructure are also so special our old academic building is too old but it's design is osam.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is too clean and every thing will be provided on hostel like water for various uses and also have water filter for drinking purpose floors are always clean and our hostel infrastructure is also too good. On group floor of hostel we have mess
Admission
Application fees is 1000 Application dates are in March and April No reservation benifits except less rank is needed for minorities and females. Exam is held once in a year for UG courses with moderate difficulty level which includes Subjects: physics chemistry maths English and general aptitude. Admission process is perfect.Admission is done through entrance exam IMUCET. Cut-off is based on category like for general rank should be less than 1000 for O?? 2000 for SC 4000 for ST 8000. Eligibilty: 10+2 with PCM and English with more than 60% in each subject. Application form is available at IMU official website imu.edu.in.
