Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is good. It prepares a student mentally and logically. Exams are semester wise and each semester has two major exams midsem and endsem. In each semester quizes and assignments also take part in CPI
Internships Opportunities
Companies like Amazon , Google ,Microsoft ,Flipkart ,Goldman Sachs ,LinkedIn ,Samsung etc. provide internship of stipend upto 6 lakhs per annum. Coding rounds and interview round ,one has to pass for getting a internship
Placement Experience
Placements are 85% in 2024 and average package is 25 Lakhs per annum. Companies like google,microsoft,JP morgan,Alpha Grep,Samsung,Qualcomm,ONGC,Indain oil,Uber,Goldman Sachs,amazon,flipkart,facebook,McKinsey etc. Highest Package of 2024 - 2.4 crore. My plan is to get a high paying job in IT field after graduation.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tuition fees-1 lakh per semster,no such hikes in fees. Complete course in 12 lakhs including hostel and mess charges. Tuition fee waivers as per reservation category. SC category-100% fee waiver. OBC category-66% fee waiver. GEN_EWS category-33% fee waiver. Scholarships are also available in college based on income.
Campus Life
Campus life is amazing. Socially,One meets like mided people in campus. All clubs are active and nice,clubs conduct various projects and activities. Technologically,classrooms are very advanced with smart classes,projectors and boards. all sports and their facilities are available. Clubs enhances your personality and mental thinking.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rooms are clean and new. All facilities are provided in room including fan,bed,almirah,table,chair,lights,boards. Each student gets a hostel room allocated to him after counselling and reporting in campus. Locality is good and environment is very competitive.
Admission
The IIT admission process via JEE ,a rigorous exam of 2 section of 3 hours each. It starts with online application and issuing admit cards.75% is required in Physics , Chemistry ,Maths in 12th class.Cutoffs are different for different category , JEE advanced is held once per year.JEE Main includes Paper 1 for B.E. / B.Tech and Paper 2 for B.Arch/B.Planning. Results with cut-offs determine eligibility for JEE Advanced. Counseling follows, allowing candidates to select colleges and courses based on ranks. Challenges include intense competition, pressure to excel in a single exam, and the lengthy, time consuming process. Overall, while it offers exceptional opportunity, the process demands dedication and resilience from aspirants.
