i like location haridwar . that's why i came here . it has good class rooms and also good teacher and senior.
better tech events and fresher party was also awesome .
fest is also good . specially DJ party was awesome.

Dislikes

this college has only boys .uniform is cumpulssury is worst thing.
collge is too far from hostel , it has 5 km away from hostel.
bus problem it has not good facility . we have to wait too much.

this course is excellent . you need to learn specific skill according to your interest . in this course exams are easy just do study before a week of your exam . this course is easy . only follow your teachers and make your attendence as required.

now i am in 1st year my fees are divided in 2 parts 1. in 1st semester you have to pay = 67750 approx. 2. in 2nd semester you have to pay = 58600 approx total year fees = 126350 hostel fees are mess = 24600 bus = 7000 caution money = 3000 hostel fees rent = for obc 20000 and for sc 15000

tech fest ... janagani which happens one in a year . it inludes dance , DJ party , library facility ... big library with good books sports facility our collesge good in sport it organise evnt like cricket , kabbadi, bolboll and runnig many more. there are also tech club like gdsc.

Hostel Facilities

hostel facility ... it has big hostel , including 3 floor only for boys , this boys college not girls allowed here. hostel provide = bed , table , chair, and sleepeng bed. rooms 2 bed room 3 bed room. 4 bed room. are available wi fi facility is also available 24/7. mess mess are average but you can live hare.

Hostel Fee: INR 55000 per year

i am ashutosh from gkv haridwar .i am persuing b.tech cse branch. i got admission through jossa councilling. i give jee exam to get admission in this college. in admission proess just follow the guidelines of jossa.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

aspects of curricullum that influenced my desicion to take admission: technical based courses are available. a well defined infrastructure. seperate buildings to involve in different regions of technology. available technical courses with updated and advanced syllabus with great faculty and seminars of different active clubs like google and microoft club. Responsive faculty and well managed curriculum to focus on specific areas of each students to make them better in the region of technolgy where they want to grow. mid level toughness with regular tests and end sem combining the internal and external practical exams.

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

Life at Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya (GKV, Haridwar)

I choose this college because it is old esteemed deemed to be university. It is one of the oldest university in India with much good prestige in lists of college. It is internationally recognized good institution as stated by the government of India. It is NAAC accredated and also UGC funded university. It is purely boys college, no girls are allowed admission in this college. This institution is managed by the Arya Samaj with collaboration with the state government. It comes under GFTI. I got rejection from Delhi Technological University (DTU), Delhi. My JEE Mains rank was not as much as it was required to take admission into Delhi Technological University. I was not able to score better in my JEE Mains examination, so my JEE Mains rank was not sufficient to get a seat in this college.
