Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum taught here builds a solid base for every engineering student. The courses just brief us about different topics of the real world. The mid sem and end sem exams are conducted after 2 months and 4 months of the start of any semester respectively. The difficulty level of every exam depends to the professor.
Internships Opportunities
I haven't tried for internship yet. The internship here usually starts from 5th semester. There are lots top MNCs visiting our college during internship season like google, amazon,flipkart; mainly for SDE jobs. Projects are important for internships and showing your skills. For example, projects in Web dev or App dev, blockchain,CP ratings; or building portfolio for designers or ui/ux type of jobs.
Placement Experience
Campus placement starts from the 7th semester and continues of the whole year. There are lots of top MNC companies coming to the college like amazon, oracle, google,microsoft, jp morgan and many more. Highest placement is around 2 crore per annum and the average salary of the CSE department is around 32lpa. The percentage of student placed in CSE department is more than 90%. My plans after getting a degree is to start my own animation studio.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is not such hikes in fees in recent years. The total fee of an year is around 2 lakhs. There are lots of schorlarship that the institute as well as the central and state government provides. The amount of scholarship depends on the type of scholarship which varies from 30,000 to 1,00,000. There are lots of POR(position of responsibilty) in the college.
Campus Life
Here, we have our cultural fest around feburary which is called Alcheringa and the technical fest around august which is called Techiniche. There are lots of course related books in the library. Apart from that there are books available on other topcis as well. The classes are well maintained. Lots of opportunity for sports and cultural activities. There are regular competition and events organised here in the campus.
Hostel Facilities
We are provided with a lan connection in each room. Along with a bed and chair and table. The hostel and mess fee of an year is around 60,000. The hostel registration is done at the time of fee payment. Mess food quality is decent. Moreover, there are several outlets in the campus to enjoy different variety of food.
Admission
Admission in IITs are done through JEE ADVANCED. I'm doing Btech in CSE that takes 4 years for completion. Application form and related fees can be found the NTA website. You must first qualify jee mains to be eligible for jee advanced. Reservation are provided to those who are less priviledged. JEE MAINS is conducted twice in a year around feburary and april. And after some months JEE ADVANCED is conducted. JEE ADVANCED is quite tough to crack.
