Remarks
I appeared for JEE mains 2020 and scored nearly 97 percentile. I was from EWS still I got civil department in NIT Patna via general rant which was nearly 32k.Then through Josaa we had our councelling and I got it in second round. They took 40k for councelling which was later refunded after some charges and then the admission fee was paid which was nearly 75 k.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum are still the old ones.They need some updates.Though some of our professors are really good as some of them come in top 2% across the world.The attendence criteria was not strict which was quite good as some of us were preparing for government jobs and Gate. Overall we need to improve the curriculum and need some updates.
Internships Opportunities
The internships were not provided in our branch.Some got in IT companies while others searched for internship by their own .we did our internship in GR Infra in the Gangapath projects. It was a two month summer internship.
Placement Experience
The placement for 2020-24 batch was not too nice like previous year . CSE department faced the crisis . Till date CIVIL also has 50% placement in which the major recruiter was L&t offering 6-6.5 lpa. The highest package was offered by nation with namo i.e.19lpa which took only one student.
Fees and Financial Aid
The first time admission fee was nearly 97k in which we had remission based on income on tution fee and sc/st had zero tution fee. Semester fee -67000 REmissions: More than 5 lpa Income-zero 1-5 lpa-2/3 remission Less than 1 lpa- 100% remission Sc/st-100%
Campus Life
The campus life was quite good . The hostel is very nice when it comes to brahmaputra hostel.Though we have many clubs, still the kind of work to be done needs to be improved.Sports section needs to be improved.The campus is small but everything is done and managed quite nicely.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is nice.we have a Nescafe in the hostel itself which is open till 3 am.We have good menu but the taste are poor .This need a lot of improvement.The registration process is the same as that of other. Hostel and mess fee is 30k.
