Course Curriculum Overview
In my course i am intresting in machine desining and process of manufacturing so i choose mechanical course in NIT kurukshetra. In my course their are many real world applications like in nit we have various labs of fluid mechanics and thermal lab engineering practice lab etc. Course should be teach in more experimental way. My test frequency is 2 times mid term and 1 end term including viva and practical exam in labs.Difficulty level is easy to moderate.
Internships Opportunities
The companies which offer internship are tata,mahendra,googla microsoft etc. The internship starts in 3rd year which continues till 6th semester. The internship programme is of 6 months and classes are off till the program ends.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester .There are many companies which visits NIT. Top companies that participate in NIT kurukshetra placement 2023 session are Infosys ,TCS ,Wipro, Google, Amazon ,Flipkart, and others. NIT kurukshetra median package for the b tech program stood at 11,00,000. The placement statics differ for each course offered by the institute. As per NIT btech placement 2023 a total of 662 students got placed amounting to a placement percentage of 75%.
Fees and Financial Aid
NIT Kurukshetra offers schlorships on financial condition of family and category of student. Financially if family income is less than 1 lakh per annum than whole tution fees is free,if between 1 to 5 lakh than half of tution fees is free. For SC,STand pwd students tution fees is not applicable. NIT kurukshetra students can avail of merit - cum-means scholarship,the centre sector scholarship scheme for SC students and alumni association scholarships.
Campus Life
The name of annual festival of nit kurukshetra is confluence which held in September and the name of technical festival is techsparda which held in January. However ,common highlights often include the academic opportunities, campus activities, cultural events, sports and the chance to meet and make friends with people from diverse backgrounds. Additionally, nit's storng academic reputations and the opportunity to learn from experienced faculty members are often cited as positive acpects of student life there.
Hostel Facilities
NIT kurukshetra has a total number of 12 hostels and in each hostel there are 2 playgrounds, one volleyball ground and various indoor games facilities are available and in each hostel there are approx 250 students .Some hostels are 3 seater and some are single seaters .The food quality is very good and students can change Menu according to them .One semesters hostel fees of mess is ?30,000 which is affordable for all .The rooms are neat and clean.
Admission
My admission was done through JOSSA counselling and i got a seat in nit kurukshetra in mechanical branch. Eligiblity is 12th and two time after 12th and minimum 75% in 12th class. Application form will be on NTA jee mains site and fees of form is 2000. Reservation are for categories like SC,ST,OBC,PWD,EWSetc. Jee mains held twice a year. The best will be count. The exam is of 3 hours which includes physics,chemistry and maths.Difficulty level is easy to moderate. Admission process takes a lot of time. It should be quick and simple.
