All About NIT KUK

Since NIts are quite old so curriculum is outdated but some faculties are there which teaches and gives assignments and projects as per today's industry needs. it can be said that approximately 70% curriculum outdated or not taught upto the needed industry level. Technologies are older and already been replaced by newer Technologies.

Internship oppression are also great in this college average stipen is 40k Rs for this college.even if u are not having internships the projects professors gives to make are good and helpful for industry experience

Campus placements are quite good and we all have many placements opportunities many companies comes to college for oncampus placments avg package for cse is around 20Lpa whereas overall avg package lies around 13Lpa. Even if someon Is not placed on campus NiT colleges have their own brand name and thus it's easier for them to find placement or get shortlisted for interviews

The fee structure is the approximate fee including hostel for a student in general category and income greater than 5Lakhs is around 8-10 Lakhs. scholarships and aids are with respect to the family income divisions that are 1-3Lakhs ,3-5Lakhs and greather than 5Lakhs and National quotas are there fot fee structure for example a student from SC/ST category will have 100% Fee waivers, OBC category will also have some fee waiver.

The campus life is quite good and our college have a very big campus around 300 Acres which is a big size. our college have more than 20+ clubs and societies which provide overall growth and exposure to a student staying in campus. clubs and so you afe based on different aspects like culture, technical,etc. A student can join any club he/she wants as per theirr interests for example freaks is a club for drama , technobyte club is there for technical things related to programm, EMR for drones and robotics, etc.

The hostel facility is good. in first year we have triple sharing rooms and 2nd year onwards we get single seated rooms. Every hostel has its own mess facility for breakfast, lunch and dinner. each hostel has sports ground of small size with volleyball net and badminton net fitted. The registration process for hostel is quite easy we have to go to hostel and pay hostel fees and get ourselves registered. The mess food is okayish as rotis are half baked but sabzi quality is good and we get sweet and milk everyday but they are in extra that is we have to pay extra for theese items as it's bot necessary that each student will drink milk or eat sweets

So After giving my JEE exam we got our results so we have to fill the JOSSA Counselling Done by central government and there first we had two mock rounds we get expected colleges as per our all india ranks and then 6 real counselling rounds occur and in the final round we get our seat in prefered college. Before counselling rounds we have to fill the preference order of colleges and in between rounds we have option to freeze the given seat or float or cancel and leave jossa counselling.
