Faculty are good some proffesoors have deep knowledge of subject but most of them avergae.

Dislikes

work load pressure and study pressure is high ...Timings are too hectic from 8 am to 6 pm which drains all the energy.

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum of course is good....Some Professors are very good at teaching. and some are average.... just like in other private engineering colleges. Curriculum prepares us for real world with avg skills.... but they give good idea and we have to prepare for it. ...Some time teachers just use electronic board for teaching instead of board and pen due to whicj concentration looses. Frequency and timings of exams are good ...we get some extra time for other activities but it differs from student to student it depends on them how they utilise it.

Internships Opportunities

Internship oppurtunities are good but most of them are for girls ... and if you want to grab an oppurtinity then you have to work on your skills and make them great for real world.You have to make great projects with fulll understanding if you want an internship.

Placement Experience

Placements are descent not so good not so high. In this covid period it is very tough to get a placement from our college.Some companies made around 20-30 offers . areond 30% studensts are placed in this season.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fee is high but can be reduced by scholariship which depends upon jee mains percentile and 12 pcm aggregate marks.The complete cost of education from 2020-24 is around 10 lac (Day scholar). Much companies visited college but it totally depends on students how they grab the best suited oppurtunities.

Campus Life

Campus is of around 30 acres . Campus life is good . Meets with other students every other day. Annual and technical festivals held time to time...sometimes can be delayed due to some problems. Fascilities and techlnological provisions within the classrooms are good. the range and accesibility of books are easy and contains many books. with different authores.Sports and extracurricular activities are not so good but they are fine.

Admission

Admission process was too smooth ..they just ask your required percentages and marks of class 12 . Then they ask for other required documents. Scholarship is based upon PCM aggregate marks and jee mains percentile. Some times this process takes too much time..but in the end it gets done succesfully.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

From the 7th semester you can sit on the placement drives.. Multiple companies visited like accenture,adobe,tcs etc. The percentage is little bit low this year..i have not much knowledge about it right now. I will try to get a good job.

aspects of curricullum that influenced my desicion to take admission: technical based courses are available. a well defined infrastructure. seperate buildings to involve in different regions of technology. available technical courses with updated and advanced syllabus with great faculty and seminars of different active clubs like google and microoft club. Responsive faculty and well managed curriculum to focus on specific areas of each students to make them better in the region of technolgy where they want to grow. mid level toughness with regular tests and end sem combining the internal and external practical exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Best college of uttrakhand

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

My review on GEU

I always wanted to pursue engineering, so after 12th I wanted to join B. Tech as my course. Then I started to search for the best universities for the course I wanted to pursue, then I came to know about Graphic Era deemed to be University. The admission process includes you should have your 12th aggregate above 60%.
