- I like Nit Patna placements. Students getting recruited by reputed companies. Nit Patna have collaboration with industry partners which provide students with opportunity with internships, guest lectures webinars and seminars
- Nit Patna fosters dynamic and inclusive student community. A mix of technical and non technical clubs, cultural events and festivals creates a well rounded campus life.
- Financial aid programes made Nit Patna education more accessible. Scholarship based on category, caste category and government schemes have ease the financial burden on students.
Dislikes
- Accommodation is bad. In one room they are adjusting 10 to 12 girls by keeping double decker beds. All beds are too close not having enough space .One cupboard for two people. Wardens are very bad.
- Mess Food is bad. They serve stale food and mix morning vegetables in evening meal. Oily food only potatoes. They are bad at south indian dishes
- Some professors are not that good. They don't teach well and make difficult paper ,give number to their favourite student.
Course Curriculum Overview
Advisory board shape the curriculum according to the needs of students.Skills and knowlege is given in additional to the courses through clubs and organisations to be the best version of ourselves.Teaching methods of some teachers are so awesome ,they explain everything in detail and doubts are cleared.
Internships Opportunities
The NIT Patna Training and placement cell website have dedicated section for internship opportunities.They have good connections with companies that offer internships to NIT Patna students. IT internships,tech and non tech internships are provided in the college campus based on the projects students have done
Placement Experience
Placements are decent here. You have to be patient and work accordingly.From seven semester you are eligible for placement.Around 50+ companies visited and they offer average of 6 lac ctc.Around 50% students get placed in 2020 during recession period.
Fees and Financial Aid
NIT Patna offers various financial aids and sp many scholarships to students including topper of the course,sc,st,single parent child if your income is less than 1 lac your fee will be around 25 k only but if you are from general category the same will cost you around 1 lac. Stipends are awarded through internships if you get selected in any of the paid internships.
Campus Life
NIT Patna is known for its vibrant and inclusive good student community. There are lot of exposure in different clubs,societies and organisations where you can get yourselves enrolled and attain a lot.Extracurriculum activities including sports and athlete meet held evey year you can join.College boasts a lot of technical and non technical clubs.
Hostel Facilities
Genuiley saying accomodation is very bad for girls hostel,but they are constructing new campus in bihta near IIT Patna then it wont be any issue. Mess food is also bad though they have changed tender and included fruits in morning and afternoon meal still the food is bad.
Admission
Admission was done online through their process. Application form available when I register for jossa admission. Application fee was around 1 lac but they have taken 50,000 in advance but the same for reservation category was only 3000 rupees.I was not into resevation category.
