I opted Civil engineering despite no prior interest.Although the curriculum feels outdated,the professors are very experienced but they are strict compared to other branches.The initial two years of curriculum were online ,causing us missing many practical sessions but they were compensated when we started offline classes.The syllabus of Civil is easy compared to other branches .We have mid semester , end semester and some assignments or quizzes.Exams are moderate in difficulty,While lab sessions are simple but not easy to score.

Famous companies like P&G ,Oracle and Goldman sacs were come though placement drive and offered 3 lakh + stipends. Many students were selected though this after that most of them got placed in the same company for 30L annual salary.

Placement drive is very good.we can apply for internshisps from 3 rd year and placement on the final year . Most of the companies are not open for Civil though companies like L n T, Relience McDermott visited and selected 30+ students. Only 40% placements are there for civil . I am hoping to get placed in one of the construction companies from campus drive itself and pursue MBA from IIM after that

Different fee structures are there based on the income . For people having income less than 1 Lakh there is no fee, for 1-5 Lakh it is 23k (approx) and people with income more than 5 Lakh 67k(approx) per semester. There are many types of financial assistance available. Scholarships like MCM and e-grandz are there for students who are eligible . For students getting after 2023 the fee structure it is bit different .

We have a beautiful campus with different people and different cultures. We have international students also . Campus is very student friendly with many recreational spots and many clubs and activities. We have access to computer labs from 8Am to 12Pm . All the classrooms are large can occupy 120+ students .Library is very advanced and quite space for studying with 10000+ books and it is 24*7 working .

We have 11 hostels including girls and boys .Hostels are very neat and clean . The rent is 2100 per month hostels messes have good quality food . For 1 st years 5 people per room , 2nd and 3rd year 2 people per room and for final year single rooms are provided .

I am an OBC student I had 96 percentile in jee mains the cut if percentile was 95 or something .I got admission in the 3 rd round in OBC-Gender neutral.I took admission in the lockdown days so most of the procedures were online though we had to go to college one time for documents verification.
