Course Curriculum Overview
Basically to choose this course I was always fascinated of building mobile application and was always interested in web development which helped me to attract for this department for the better life after getting this degree. The frequency and timing of exams is always perfect as it helps students to get through the course before ahead as the professors are skilled and clear the concepts in the class through the way of teaching.
Internships Opportunities
The companies and roles offered under internship with stipend are : Atlassian- SDE intern (1.30 lakhs per month) Mastercard: SDE intern( 45K per month) Deutsche Bank: SDE intern(75K per month) Accenture: SDE intern(50K per month)
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for campus placements from 7th Semester onwards. The name of companies visited are basically MNC's and unicorn companies and the highest offer made was 80lakhs per annum. The percentage of students getting placed are around 98-99% . My plans after getting the degree is that to get placed in any MNC's.
Fees and Financial Aid
Here the fees for students those who comes under general category need to pay around 1.25 lakhs per annum for tuition fees whereas for OBC category they get some relaxation in fees by 30-50% in tuition fees and for SC/ST category they don't need to pay any tuition fees as it's completely waived. The tuition fees for international students are: SAARC countries: $4000(per annum) Non-SAARC countries: $8000(per annum)
Campus Life
The name of annual and technical festivals are Tecnoesis which is held usually in the month of October and Incandescence which is held in the month of February-March every year. The library out here provides world's class facility for students as it's one of the second largest digital library so it get accessed for all the students in e-learning platforms. The facilities and technologies provision within the classroom is decent as required for the students. There are many sports activities held through the year where many students do participate in different games as of their interest. There are many clubs which are formed and runned for the betterment and smoothness of the college for different sectors and Department.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility that being provided by the college is pretty decent as no one can raise any question as the room is quite spacious and accommodate students from single seater to triple seater. In the hostel there provides a regular electricity, Lan connection, hot water, water cooler, geyser in the bathroom. The meal quality and Menu is pretty descent. The registration process for hostel and affordability is quite easy as it's same price for all the students.
Admission
The admission process was smooth as during my time of admission it was covid19 so everything was online and that's why my mode of admission was online for 2021-2025 batch. For the general category one need to have more than 95 percentile in order to secure a seat for B.Tech CSE but meanwhile for OBC category one can have 80-85 percentile in his/her jee mains for the seat and lastly for the SC/ST category one can have atleast 70 percentile in the jee mains entrance exam. All the application forms, application fees and application dates time is available or provided through the institute website time to time.

Because NIT Silchar is far better than VIT Vellore as compared to student ratio and placement wise.
