Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is very relevant butbi feel it is quite out dated, like the courses we have don't have much application innthe current world though it builds a very strong foundation for us but ya i still feel they should modernize the curriculum to certain extent to make students ready for real world applications
Internships Opportunities
The internships can be taken up in 1st,2nd and 3rd year. But 1st and 2nd years will mostly be off campus and where as in 3rd year a lot of companies come tonthe campus for hiring interns. Getting and intern is a little tough because it depends on many factors like branch, cpi and the level of talent one has in thw particular field
Placement Experience
The placements stats are good, obviously because it's an IIT, but it still depends on the market and your personal skill. We are also offered internships in the 3 Rd year. The placements are also little branch dependent, like the case students obviously get more package than the other branch students
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee depends on your category, for general students it is around 1.3 lakhs a year including all mess, hostel and course. The fees is lesser for OBC, SC and st candidates. About scholarship, there are many available for grades related and even for those with a weaker economic background
Campus Life
The classrooms are really good, and the campus is very beautiful, i would say that the campus life is really amazing but the food quality and the mess food is not that great. There are many fests in the college and something or the other keeps coming up keeping all the students engaged. There are also tonnes of clubs for all interests
Admission
The admission was done through jee advanced exam. To be eligible to write jee advanced, one must clear jee mains(mostly get above 88 percentile or similar) the after writing jee advanced exam depending on the rank u will get admission
