Course Curriculum Overview
Mathematics is a subject I find interesting and its application in modern day computing has huge potential. The course has several practical and theoretical courses for both real world application and pure academic interests. More focus on grasping pure maths should be done. Exam is conducted twice a sem excluding minor quiz between them
Internships Opportunities
Alphagrep and quadeye are the biggest with above 3 lakh stipend rubrik gives around 3 lakhs Microsoft google jp morgan chase uber etc others give around 1 lakhs many companies give between 50k to 1 lakhs
Placement Experience
Students are eligible fir placements after 7 th semester. Almost all top tier companies from quadeye,rubrik,alphagrep,microsoft,google etc come for placements and more than 1000 offers were made Highest package was around 2.4 cr abd average is around 18 lakhs Around 70 percent got placed To get a job
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fee is 1 lakh per semester and fee hikes are rare in government institutes. Complete cost including hostel rent and registration is around 11 to 12 lakhs There is merit cum means scholarship by the administration also other private scholarships available.
Campus Life
Three major fest in the college Alcheringa is the cultural fest, udgam the entrepreneurship cum buisness fest and techniche the tech fest. Each classroom has speakers,teacher's microphone and a projector. There are classrooms of different sizes across many buildings. There are two football grounds two cricket grounds hockey field, volleyball court badminton court basketball courts, squash court and a swimming pool in the campus. Also each year general championship is organised where various clubs from technical,cultural and sports provide problem statement and each hostel compete. There are many student run clubs within the campus like coding club, finance club, quiz club etc. there is also dance club music club and drama club
Hostel Facilities
Rooms are double sharing with two beds one table and chair and one cupboard Mess quality varies from hostel to hostel and is mediocre at best Registration is done at time of admission and is your home for 4 years
Admission
Admission in IIT is through JEE Advanced and you need to have 75 percent in 12th to be eligible Seat allocation is through josaa JEE advanced is conducted once a year in may and to be eligible you need to pass cutoff in jee main
