A decent college for studying BTECH course in west bengal

The college faculties are very polite and nice to students but most of the the management is very unhelpful to is.

I came to know about this particular college from one of my seniors, he is now placed in a reputed company. This college gives us so much memories in this entire four years of courses, there are many tech fests and competitions takes place every year.

As the BTECH course is of 4 years course, in the first year we basically learn the detailed of our higher secondary syllabus and then from 2nd year we divided according to our specialised departments, then the whole 3 years goes very smooth. The more you will attend classes and study harder results will improve.

No, actually our college don't provide any kind of internship but it refers to some of companies for internship.

The placement and job opportunities is pretty decent here. But as all knows the current scenario of engineering jobs, it's very much less amount package given to most of all students placed as freshers. Also not all the students placed every year, as I have not placed yet.

Actually our college have many clubs i.e Paridhi (Tech) as well as other kind of organisations too i.e Sargam (Musical) etc. Every year they organise their own fests and every single students are allowed to participate in those programmes. Our college also organise fests for our freshers.

The fee structure is pretty mush costly now compared to then. You have to spend more than a lakh for a year and there is uniform fees, exam fees and bla bla bla. But it also pointable that other some colleges has a fees structure more than our college.

Yeah, there is a scholarship available after admission. If you're from west bengal and family condition not so good then you can apply for wbfs in 1st year.

Our college campus life was very much memorable in this whole four years of course, we are gonna miss those moments spend all together, bunked few classes together and most of all the fests we enjoyed together. The gender ratio is I think boys are more in number than girls.

First of all I do not stay in hostel and never stayed. According to my friends who stayed only in first year there that the food quality is not bad but staying there not suggestible. Messes are easily available near our college and those are quite cheaper than hostel and provide better infrastructure for us.

The seniors I got was very much helpful to us, even after they are passed out and placed to reputed companies like TCS, THOUGHT WORKS they keep contact with us.

The exam structure a little bit tough here, everyone is not allowed to sit for exams until they have fulfilled at least 75 percent attendance, which is a kind of drawback for us, we think. Marks obtained by all students from our college is pretty good.

As I was science student of West bengal board, I appeared for West bengal joint entrance exam as well as in JEE MAIN too. I admitted to the college through my wbjee rank which was 21000. The admission procedure was followed by in college, it was very simple.

The faculty members are most of them very nice and students friendly, but few of them I got not that much supportive. After 1st year passed when was in my own department, since then I got faculties more nice to students and helpful too. Their behaviour very polite to students.
