- The placement are really good in our college, and one of the only reasons for which I chose it.
- The research facilities are also there in our college and there are many professors actively engaged in it, so if someone is interested in research, it can be a great opportunity for them.
- The campus life is still not disliked by me, as the culture here among the students is quite lovable, the harmony between the seniors and juniors is remarkable.

Course Curriculum Overview
I wanted Computer Science and Engineering branch to get jobs in IT sector. But my percentile in general category was not enough to get CSE in Jee Main 2022. So I had to take Electronics and Communication Engineering, as it's considered an acceptable branch for IT jobs. For me I am more dependent on my self study than my branch curriculum to prepare for IT roles. Though there are also some common subject between the branch CSE and ECE, but only them are not enough. The professors have knowledge about their subjects, but being capable of delivering that knowledge is a completely different thing, many of them lack in that. Also the course is so vast and the time for it seems so less, hardly all the topics could be completed. Among the total 8 semesters, there are 2 every year, so 2 mid term and 2 end term exams, and also many internal exams, labs, assignments, quiz, viva etc. The difficulty level varies gretly, and if the professor doesn't teach well in class, it becomes really hectic.
Internships Opportunities
The on campus internship opportunities are available from 5 th semester onwards, so I have not done any internship from on campus yet. The data of the name of the companies, stipend etc. is available on the official website of our college. The college internship opportunities are quite good, just as the placement opportunities, though many students also try to get off campus internships too.
Placement Experience
The campus placements are really good in our college. From 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. The data of name of the companies and the no of offers is available in the official website of our college.tge highest package offered this year is 89 LPA (in 2025 passout batch, so it may take time for the data to be updated), the average offered this year is yet to be known...the average package of previous year was around 14 LPA. Placement percentage is also mentioned in the official website, and it's quite good. My plans are also same as I mentioned before, getting placed in an IT firm.
Fees and Financial Aid
For our batch, the total semester fees was around 8.5 lakhs. And the semester fee is fixed during admission. If someone takes hostel and mess, it charges separately, around 40k per semester. Scholarships are available in terms of National and State Government Scholarships. Unfortunately the National Scholarships are only for reserved students, and my state govt don't give any such scholarship opportunity too. There are some private firms that give scholarship based on exams taken by them, I don't know much about that. I am currently the Art Club Secretary in college, but me or in fact no one get any stipend for such roles or responsibilities.
Campus Life
For the campus life, there should be a campus first, our college's own campus is still under construction, we are expected to have our classes in the new campus from 5th semester. The currently functioning campus is a small building of Bhagalpur College of Engineering, and it's not good in terms of facilities. We have a techno-cultural fest "Enyugma" on November and a sports fest "Udyatva" in January. Most of the books of our curriculum and other extracurriculars are available in Library, but nobody cares that much about it, since we mostly rely on digital formats, like pdfs and video lectures, alongside the class notes. The classrooms in the BCE building have no such mentionable facilities, during summer they become extremely hot, also proper cleaning is not there, there's always a thick layer of dust in the benches. Sports like cricket, football, badminton and many more are there, but not with proper facilities. Technical and cultural clubs lack resources.
Admission
The admission was through JOSAA and CSAB counseling, based on the rank or percentile in JEE Main entrance exam. In 2022 for general category, the cutoff percentile was around 89.y percentile was 94.85. The exam was conducted 2 times in 2022 due to COVID. Before that, it was 4 times in a year. It's definitely a tough exam considering the competition in it, and the mathematics paper was the toughest. I went through the counseling process through the official website of NTA. The application form, application fees and application dates were mentioned there. One thing that I noticed, the server of the official website was not strong enough, resulting in server down issues multiple times during checking the result, this was very annoying.
