Life in CEK

The curriculum for Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering is prescribed by Kerala Technical University. Since the university changes the curriculum every 5 years we can be assured that the curriculum is updating according to the needs of today's world. This updated syllabus influenced me to choose this curriculum in this university. But as far as Real world applications are concerned the employers are demanding since they are not ready to train new employees. So to improve the cos curriculum first you need to include those aspects that is very much needed when a person or a student is joining a job after his college education and when it concerns to teaching methods the professor communicative with students more free kindly and should teach in such a way that students are able to grass the concept very easily instead of Mugging them up. So when we talk about exams there are basically to series test and one university test for every semester with medium level.

As for my knowledge there are no direct role for my college in internships. Most of the students approach companies outside the college for internships. So when it comes to emploibility of a student after education it's on the students hands only.

7th semester students will become eligible for campus placements Mini companies including so ITC Infosys etc visited our college for placements Highest packages 6 lakh rupees per annum average packages 2.5 lakh per annum. Almost 80 percentage of the students get placed After degree I would like to pursue my post graduation.

Current no information regarding the regarding the English of tuition fee in my college since my college is a self finance in college under the control of Government of Kerala. The complete the cost of my education including tuition fees service fees and the other compulsory charge concludes to 2 lakh Rupees. There are many scholarship or financial aids available for students in this college through egrants and national scholarship portal. Karauli there are no employment opportunities in our college and no stipend where awarded.

So when we are talking about the annual and technical festivals conducted in my college last year we conducted an annual festival on first 12 hold Aastha which was wonderful. We have a very good official library that horse records of latest books which are helpful in our University exam preparation. We have a good playground near our college so our sports day are also conducted annually and we have a very good sports day And since national service scheme is very active in our college there are many student run social groups clubs and student portals which impacts to the life in a positive manner

Our hostel has great facilities including bed fan bathroom toilet etc Mail quality is average but it's good food and nutritious and the menu is also diverse. Registration process is is not there complicated as it is done through office college and the rent for per month including food and accommodation is 5000. Currently I am in a house as a paying guest.

So I have basically done by BTech degree in Computer Science and Engineering from College of Engineering Kottarakkara anyone can avail admission to this college by writing an entrance exam called Kerala Engineering and Medical Entrance exam also known as keam. Minimum eligibility for writing this sentence exam is 12th grade. Application form for this entrance exam can be found in the website called CE Kerala this website is the website of the controller of entrance examinations for various examinations conducted by the state of Kerala.No reservation benefits were availed by me as I am a General categories student. The exam is basically of 3 hours and it consist of physics,chemistry and maths and the exam is much easier compared to JEE exams. after writing this exam, a rank list is published based on the mark you scored in the exam and the marks scored by you in Physics Maths and Chemistry in your 12th grade. after that you can get admission in your preferred college according to rank
