Likes

The staff is highly educated and supportive.
Classes and library are clean. Environment for studying is good.
The labs are filled with modern equipments and lab assistants are helpful.

Dislikes

Campus is small for a university with this big name.
Library is small for the number of students studying there
There are not much courts for playing in the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview

As you all know btech is one of the best course one can do. It not only improve or increase your knowledge about engineering but helps in your all over growth. In my course I have many subjects which provide me knowledge about engineering and personality development. The faculty members a good.

Class Size: 76Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Placement Experience

There are companies coming for campus placements. Average package is around 5 lakh. Students are eligible for placement from 7th semester. Companies such as Microsoft, tcs, Google,amazon etc. Highest package is around 84 lakhs .

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for btech student is around 180000. But after getting all scholarships done it comes down to around 1 lakh. There is 25% scholarship for uttarakhand state domicile holder. 5% if you have siblings studying there or your parents are in armed forces or you have national sports certificates. You also get scholarship according to your boards examinations percentage.

Campus Life

The overall experience is average. The campus is not too big. So The campus life is below average. There many clubs there including dance club, bhangra club, singing club and many more. Many annual and technicals festivals are organised. One of them is grafest.

Admission

The admission process was easy. There was nothing to do much. There were no entrance exams . You are eligible for btech irrespective of what percentage you got in your boards examinations. There is state scholarship for residents of uttarakhand with domicile and scholarship according to your boards examination percentage.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

From the 7th semester you can sit on the placement drives.. Multiple companies visited like accenture,adobe,tcs etc. The percentage is little bit low this year..i have not much knowledge about it right now. I will try to get a good job.

aspects of curricullum that influenced my desicion to take admission: technical based courses are available. a well defined infrastructure. seperate buildings to involve in different regions of technology. available technical courses with updated and advanced syllabus with great faculty and seminars of different active clubs like google and microoft club. Responsive faculty and well managed curriculum to focus on specific areas of each students to make them better in the region of technolgy where they want to grow. mid level toughness with regular tests and end sem combining the internal and external practical exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Best college of uttrakhand

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

I got admission offer from Sharada, SRM and GEHU Bhimtal campus also but compared to all of them placement system is good in GEHU DDN. No I donot get rejections at all For admission you have to consult with the admission team and they will give you form of admission where all needed details need to be filled.
