Course Curriculum Overview
The mechanical engineering is a core/ heart of engineering. In mechanical engineering we studied about manufacturing, production, material science, Robotics. After completing your undergraduate in mechanical engineering you can opt for the gate examination. After crack the gate exam you can opt specialisation in various field like Aerospace, production, thermal. You can also opt for the PSUs and Ese or Go for UPSc taking machanical as a optional subject.
Internships Opportunities
Many student got internship and get good stipend . My immediate senior got SDE offer in amzon and one of my batchmates got internship offer at texus . Some student also opt for research work in isro and etc.
Placement Experience
The placememt of college is tremendous. The last year our average package is about 14-15 lpa and highest was 65 LPa in google . Approx 126% placement was occur in last year and most of the student got twice or thrice offers from the companies. This year our highest package is 67 lpa in google.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition fee of nit patna is considered on three levels: Income greater than 5 lacs: for those whose income is greater than 5 lacs would pay 62500? tuition fee obviously hostel fee is not included. Income between 1 to 5 lac : for those whose income is between this criteria got 2/3rd remission of their tuition feees. Income less than 1 lac : got full rimision of tution fees. For scholarship you can apply vatious scholarship like FFe and state scholarship.
Campus Life
The college life of national institute of technology is very cool. We have various types of club like hacksclash, robotics, web and coding, Desco and cultural clubs like Expresso, Natvansh, Saptak etc. The infrastructure of nit patna is legendary. It is now awarded as a heritage since it's building is approx 120 years old. The campus is about 45 acres.
Hostel Facilities
The first year hostel of Nit patna is poor suppose if you get sone hostel it is old and needed renovation. But some hostels like Kosi and brahmputra are very good. Brahmputra has 10 floors and approx 1000 student live here. The food of mess is ok types. You will get fish eggs milk in breakfast and paneer green veggie in lunch and dinner too.If u want pg that is also available but very less student choose for pg option.
Admission
First of all I gave joint entrance exam both mains and advanced. On behalf of jee mains I got admission in Nitp. First of all I secured 95.5 precentile in jee mains. So during the counselling of JOSAA and CSAB I got Nitp. The application of jee is released every year in Jan and April. The application fee of jee mains is now 900?. The difficulty level of jee mains is moderate. You can crack the exam if u do good revison and makes short notes.
