The whole BTech cirriculum is designed in such a way that a student touches all the aspects of mechanical engineering . If he/she is interested in any of the subject/fiels then they may continue their studies in that . But curriculum is designed in such a way that a student shouldn't be unaware of any of the subjects. Exams are conducted twice in a semester - mid term(1.5 hrs) and end term(3 hrs).

In my department, teachers send the google form link of internship registration of various companies. Now it depends on company whether it admits directly of conducts a test. But teachers send the companies name and registration form. But it will be even better if you hunt ftom your side too.

In BTech a student is eligible to sit into placemets from 7th Semester. Many companies do visit the campus and hire the students. if you are bit sincere then you will definately get placed. The highest package this year was 55 L and min was around 3.5L .Placements are still going on and students are getting placed. I am also looking forward to get placed on campus.

The fee increses every year for the new coming batches almost by 50K, the complete cost of education in mechanical engineering as of now could be 10L and the living cost is around 1.5 - 2 L per year. Scholarships are based on JEE rank . Also if you are a girl you get additional benefit;if you are child of a defence personnel, you get additional benefit.

All the major festivals are celebrated in the campus(main ground) with immense joy. All the hostellers and sometimes even all the students are allowed to join the function. Sometimes even the major sports is live telecasted in the main auditorium and all the students gather and watch and enjoy. sports are arranged every now and then. It's a very happening college.

The hostel in which i was accomodated was triple sharing. Now your comfort depends on how you are and what type of room mates you get. Laundry facility is available with an extra pay of Rs 4000 a year. Meal quality is very good in mess with different food all the four times and all the seven days. The hostel can be booked at the time of admission.

Eligibility invloves 12 in PCM with good marks and you should have appeared for JEE exams. The admission procedure is very simple. when you enter the college the staff themselves will give you a campus tour and will explain the admission procedure. It is not that difficult; the admission staff is very supportive. There is no test for entry .

In mechancial department the ratio of teacher to student is 1:25 . In CSE and BBA courses it may even rise upto 1:70 or 80. Due to less students in my department teachers give attention to each and every student in class and solve their problem. The teachers are quite approachable though. I did't find any difficulty in seeking heap from any of the faculty member.
