Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is organized but there are many things taught to us that are of no use in our future and they don't much focus on research and other things as there are 75%minimum attendance criteria because of students have to only attend class because of attendance unless they are not gaining anything for that class. That time we can utilize other innovative things. The exams are held on time.
Internships Opportunities
There are many internship opportunities that came to our college this year. There is also a research internship under professors in the summer where we'll get a stipend also There are few companies mentioned below that come to our college and take a student for internships Atlassian, Nvidia, Amazon, Flipkart, and Myntra. They give a stipend of 20000 to 50000 per month.
Placement Experience
The placement of college is very good ,and it's the second-best placement-giving college in north East. The average package of my college is 18 lpa. There is a training and placement cell in college which helps students to place in. Mostly 95% student of my branch is placed..if to any reason anyone doesn't get on-campus placement then he can also apply for off-campus placement as He is a degree holder from top nit so it will be easy for hime to get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is very low as it is a government college. In general, the fee is 120000 per semester for people having income above 5 lacs...But for people having income less than 1 lac, the fee is 30000 per semester..The hostel accommodation is totally free, only we have to give mess fees. The scholarship from college is given only on the basis of income criteria..We can take another state and central scholarship also.
Campus Life
My overall college experience is good. There are many clubs which which focus on different curricular activities. NSS is also a mandatory course for us which mainly focuses on social activities. As I discussed earlier there is a very big library in college where mostly all books are available and there is also a very big sitting area where we can go and study quietly. There are CClabs are also which is well equipped with internet connectivity and air conditioners so we can go there for our projects also
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is not so much good.. Because as it is governmented college so fees is less so they don't give so much facilities as there is only fan in the room . There are 3 sitter rooms in the hostel which is not very good.There is no hostel fees only there is fee of mess .Only we have to give 20000 per semester for mess fees.
Admission
The addmission is only given on the basis of Joint entrance exam (JEE) ranks which is conducted by NTA . After crossing the cutoff, we got allotted college which is done by Josaa counselling. After allotment of college, we have to submit a partial admission fee to josaa to lock the college and then we have to verify documents online and after completion of counseling, we have to go to college and verify offline documents and do some procedures in the college. The application form is available on the college site which we have to fill out and submit to the college. And hostel is also allotted in coming in college and submitting hostel fees.
Faculty
The faculty members are well educated and very cooperative and behaviour is also very supportive. All faculty members are PhD degree holders .. They all have graduated from a top IIT or NIT and some have also taken degrees from foreign..They have done research in various field also
