Good experience of engineering in the lap of nature

College management is a little bit strict but not so good or not so bad.

They update their curriculum according to the need of current standards. The course structure is quite good for learners. Exams conducted here are slightly easy as compared to govt University and colleges like Uptu. They have continuous evaluation pattern with proper quizzes, class test, one mid sem exam, and end term exams.

Placement is quite good in CSE branch. Almost every student was placed before last semester in CSE. Average package is about 5 lakh. Secure Meters, Hexaware, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Capgemini and many more companies come during placements. They also offer placements to other branches as well. Ashok Leyland, BYJU's, Prism Cement etc also hire students from college.

Youthopia is the annual fest of DIT conducted every year comprises of many technical, cultural events like Fashionista, RoboWar etc. Sports fest Sphurti is also conducted annually which comprises of inter-college level sports events. Many other minor workshops and events are conducted on a month basis.

Fees are a little bit high as compared to other colleges. It is about 2 lakh per year for B. tech and 2.5 for specialized courses. Hostel fee is about 1 lakh per year. So total expense is about 3-3.5 lakh per year. However, you may opt for various PG and flats nearby college.

They provide various scholarships on basis of JEE main ranks and 12th board marks. However, they also provide Naveen Agarwal Founder scholarship.

Girls are slightly less as compared to boys. Campus life is like normal. Various events are organized periodically like Debates, workshops, robotics etc. College also engaged in NSS. Labs are quite good and almost updated with proper software and hardware.

They have a strong alumni network. They organize alumni meets every year and in various cities. However, they also invite alumni students to various organizations. Some of them also conduct workshops in DIT.

Admission was done on the basis of Ranks of JEE MAINS. Also, admission was offered on basis of 12th marks. There were proper registration dates and counseling rounds were conducted in the month of June. There was a proper display of Branches with the seat being offered at University.

The faculty is up to the mark. Some of them are quite experienced and Ph.D. holders but mostly they recruit M. Tech Freshers of IITs and NITs. Sometimes it may lack the need for a good experience while teaching. Student-faculty interaction process is quite easy as compared to other colleges.
